NBA BTTF III - Draft Over! War of attrition underway... (2 Viewers)

I had talked myself in to VO because he should get 100% at PG and SG and we've had over 20+ at the position selected so far and there is a bit more meat on thebone at SF.

Where do you guys see last year's ratings? Probably should have asked earlier...

Pretty happy with this so far:

PG: CP3

SG: DeRozan

PF/C: P. Gasol

Harden's gonna get it to him when he's open in the corner just like Wall did, right? I'm sure he will. I expect zero letdown post-contract year.

Also, he had a 45 defensive rating? I don't know what that means but I'm outraged.
Good pick. He was ahead of Teague on my list until all the other PGs started disappearing.

I figure he'll be a less dreamy Chandler Parsons.

You can go to whatifsports, start to draft a team and download all the rankings and position eligibility there.

4. Draft a team.

5. Draft player > here is where it takes you to a search with a bunch of filters.

The only real important stat to check with is DEF rating. They rely a lot on blks/stls so often times players a player's defensive reuptation whether good or bad doesn't match.

Thanks. I've just been looking at Hollinger stats on ESPN :bag:

I was torn between a handful of players, but I figured I needed some shooting and he is a good bet to rain down a bunch of threes again this season. Ariza would have probably been my pick here if he made it.

I hate to be the "I can't believe this guy is still available" guy, and I know that he's probably not as good in the SIM as in real life, and I make fun of his play in the NBA thread as much as anyone...

BUT he did shoot over 50% from the 2pt range after the trade and a 28 year old 20ppg Small Forward that played on the FIBA team shouldn't be available 67 picks in to this thing.

SF - Rudy Gay - Sacramento Kings
This was the other guy I was considering when I took Wiggins. I decided to go with the unknown, because it's exciting - until it becomes known. I probably should have went with Gay, but I don't really want to reassemble the Kings roster in this sim.

Would be pretty funny if someone just drafted a really bad NBA team to see how it would do in the Sim. Would have been interesting to see if a real PG. Of course I'm sure now the real Kings will end up with more wins the Groovie Boogies.

Hopefully he can figure out his offensive game while maintaining the elite defense, if he can pick up the shooting a bit, he'll be a nice pick.

PG: Derrick Rose

SG: Wes Matthews

SF: Jimmy Butler

PF:

C: Marc Gasol

I thought about him, but I generally only take players I like. And I really liked the idea of reuniting Wall and Bledsoe. I think we'll play uptempo this year.

Hai. So Hibbert, I hate him, but he's an 85 and an 80 defensively the last two years playing 30mpg at C.

George Hill was panicky, but PG is just about done for...there's only 1-2 other guys that are worth your time. At least he chucks 3s well and doesn't kill you on defense (57-59).

PG Hill

SG Klay

SF Kawhi

PF

C Hibbert

Seems fun.
