NBA BTTF IV - LEAGUE ID: 53356 (1 Viewer)

Tre...your guys might want to start playing better.
I have 2 total games played. Could be the problem.
I'm pretty sure it's just the loading team page that is screwed up. If you go to the standings they have 30-40 GPs and if you hit "60-days" on your team page it comes up with 2-4 GPs for each player.
Right - I fixed that...we just never clicked "finish draft".

Sad news is team is still terrible. Team shooting 39% with no rebounds, assists, steals or blocks could be the problem.

My 18th rounder Markel Brown is starting for Brooklyn. This probably says as much about my team as it does the Nets.

PG: Reggie Jackson, Raul Neto, Seth Curry, Marcelo Huertas, Pierre Jackson

SG: James Harden, Patrick Beverley, Glenn Robinson III

SF: Aaron Afflalo, PJ Tucker, Dwight Powell

PF: Aaron Gordon, Nemanja Bjelica, Anthony Bennett

C: Pau Gasol, Motiejunas, Mitch McGary, Furkan Aldemir

If two of Neto, Seth Curry, Huertas, Powell, Bennett, and McGary are good, my team could do some things. If Harden gets hurt, we suck.
Jackson (23.95 PER), Neto (starting...but 8.0 PER)

Harden (30 ppg, 23.13 PER), Beverley (missing games, 6.28 PER)

Afflalo (has not played), Tucker (24 minutes per game...but 8.6 PER), Powell (sleeper alert - 19.79 PER)

Gordon (only 18 minutes...but 22.86 PER), Bjelica (12.13 PER)

Pau (20.05 PER), everyone else missing games or cut

Jackson and Harden is a monster backcourt.

the flyers on Gordon, Bjelica, and Powell look good...just need more minutes from Gordon. Center is going to be a real problem if Donuts misses longer than I expected.

Steph Curry has made 38 threes so far, the rest of my team has made 36. Lopez hurt his foot again (I read it shouldn't be an issue, but I don't trust that), so there is a possibility his 232 minutes are it for the year.

UPDATE? :coffee:

Durant hurt. Faried hurt. Redick hurt. Asik was hurt, now shooting 16 percent. Collison hurt. Ginobili hurt. Gerald Green hurting other people.

Basically I'm not even gonna come close on minutes and will probably have to trade Durant. Something for people doing well to think about.

It's still incredibly early to try to project minutes, but I'd swap Durant for Dante Cunningham if that'd help you out.

With Norris Cole alive every one of my players has played...although Walter Tavares and Pat Connaughton aren't racking up the minutes.

Update: On pace for 230 minutes/game out of the needed 240, and I have a clean bill of health (except for Carl Landry who doesn't matter anyway). Mo Williams is about to see a big minutes decline but if I can keep the rest of the gang healthy I might be alright.

I've got 8 guys who are playing really well when they're out there, but the minutes issues probably mean I'll have to give significant playing time to statistical trainwrecks like Gerald Green and Trevor Booker.

Also, Omer Asik can #### off. Not even rosterable right now.

I was bummed about spending that cash on Kawhi, but with his increased scoring he's a freaking steal.

Avery Bradley broke out as a 3 point shooter like I hoped and Jah is putting up points as I expected.

Danny Green needs to step it up. Lin has been underwhelming from my expected lead PG.

My old vets (Felton, Nelson, Taj, Duncan) have been coming through with MINUTES, but my young lottery tickets have been a bust so far (Gary Harris, Jared Cunningham, Anthony Brown, Hardaway Jr). Ian Clark should proved very efficient back up PG minutes as few as they might be.

Tentative starting 5:

PG Avery Bradley

SG Danny Green (as long as he keeps a good DEF rtg)

SF Kawhi Leonard - STUD

PF Jah Okafor

C Tim Duncan

Bench:

Smalls: Lin/Nelson/Felton/Clark

Bigs: Taj/Luer/Steven Adams

A solid team with a killer defensive starting 5. May not be enough 3 point shooting, but plenty of rebounds and efficient bigs.

How many teams have 4/5 lockdown defenders? Kawhi had the best DEF rtg overall. Yes, even with Jah it'll be a killer defensive team.

Even in real life NBA you can build a killer defensive team with 3 studs and 2 sieves (ie. 13-14 Warriors that played David Lee and Curry with Bogut/Iggy/Klay).

KILLER DEFENSIVE TEAM!

I had that last year...(including Kawhi) in this. Didn't have enough scoring though. Looks like you're suffering from the same, if not worse.

Shouldn't need a billion minutes like I did last year which is a good thing.

Bucks crappy shooting/spacing is hurting Greek freak. Korver/z-bo/porter a tad disappointing. But overall can't complain too much so far.

Was it low scoring or usage? Maybe both?I agree my top end scoring is lowish, but a few of my bench guys are near 10 ppg. USG wise I should be fine because of Jah and the uptick in Kawhi USG.

But we'll see. Last year I had killer scoring efficiency, but lost in the Finals. So trying something different this year.
