Didn't have a good feeling about yesterdays team and the injury to Lowry and the flop of a game by Barnes pretty much pushed me out of the money. I like this lineup better tonight. Spending some more cash on Guards then I usually do Lawson/Knight might be the smarter combo at PG but I want the studs tonight. Anyways this lineup projects to score 259 Points, here's to hoping it is more like 300.

I worry about a finger splint on a guard. Seems like a recipe for turnovers, and one hard foul across the ball while his hand is on it might mean a short night. Could be wrong though. Maybe a decent gamble if you are in a big league.

I like Chandler and at his price with this match up considering someone like Dwight Howard is nearly 3k more. Also really like Ryan Anderson here, he should put up points and grab rebounds against a crappy WAS team. Blatche is who he is. I'll pay the extra cash b/c he's more steady than Jamison, plus I couldn't find an upgrade I really liked with the saved Jamison money (Griffin/Jamison vs. Anderson/Blatche). Kobe and CP3 are no brainers considering the rest of the pool at their positions and since I had extra cash to spare riding the Beal/Jordan Crawford duo.

I am assuming you got this from rotogrinders? I also take these stats into consideration, but I also believe a few guys to be matchup proof, regardless of defensive effeciency, and Carmelo falls under that umbrella for me (a few others: LBJ, Durant, Love).

I can see where you're coming from and generally try to build around 3 studs, but I'll use match up in determining which studs to play. I couldn't justify picking Melo over Kobe, CP3, and Griffin considering the cost and match ups.

I agree, I would put Kobe & CP3 in that group as well. I personally like Carmelo better than Griffin, and would not put Griffin in my stud category (just my opinion only). However, if you value Griffin a little higher or on the same level as Melo, Kobe, CP2, etc., I can definitely see where you are coming from with the defensive matchups.

I know for a fact some of you are higher on CP3 in this format than I am. Also, the way he's playing right now, I think Blake > CP3. Might even be more so tonight with what other choices we have at those positions. But, Paul is rather consistent, so that should be the reason why I should like him more on light nights.

True, but I consider bryant(in full "get mine" mode right now) and Melo to be the true studs on the board. Duhon with a slight uptick as late and CLE not so great at defending PG's even when Irving is healthy and in shape.ETA I would love to get a bryant/Melo/Monroe lineup together for 50k but I just can't make the numbers work.

It was fun watching this lineup hang around in 45th-50th place while Kobe, Melo and Lawson were dominating and then finish 2nd, 4th, and 5th with the LAC/CHI players closing the door.100% tonight overall, 7-0. That's Tuesday for me...give it all back tomorrow probably.

Yeah, did really well. Still scored 250+ but that's a very solid score in a 50k league. Chandler bombed but I faced him in most leagues so it was a wash. Most teams had either bryant or Mello but very few had both. Nearly got bit by Irving owners... pretty good first game back.244pts good enough for 15th place. Cut was 232. You had to be an easy cash with yours.
