13 games, so many options, having a tough time choosing what I hope will be the right studs. So far I hate every lineup I put together. Last night was my worst since I started bball.

Currently:

PG Kyrie IrvingCLE@IND$7,400

PG Stephen CurryGS@MIA$8,100

SG DeMar DeRozanBKN@TOR$6,500

SG Joe JohnsonBKN@TOR$5,700

PF Larry SandersSAC@MIL$6,200

PF Carlos BoozerCHI@PHI$6,300

Lopez out.

Here is 50k for now. I dunno...Boozer is 6.3 but I don't see an upgrade anywhere for .3. Philly struggles more with Centers it seems so I guess I'll spend it on Blatche vs Tor.

There is so much value out there tonight, it is going to make for some very interesting matchups tonight...I am still tweaking both of mine but will post later.

Scored 305 pts with my lineup last night...took down a couple of the big double up tourneys, but failed to break the top 400 even in the GPPs. Crazy night of scoring.

Think I'm gonna try to spread it out tonight and stay away from most of the big guns.

Need to restrain myself from more than the one 50k and two 60k's I'm signed up for. Just a little bit to wet the whistle tonight.

tonight is crazy and i know if you aint got 320 atleast points you aint winning lol too much stars what your lineup look like tonight bolt
I agree with you, probably will need to break my ~250pt funk to make any money tonight. I actually kind of like these big nights though where you can play in a 5-team league and can face 5(almost) completely different lineups.

but thing is if your not carfeul lol u can end up with even 220 points you have to be smart best strategy is srub +stud line up

Here are my lineups for tonight, went very stars and scrubs (so much value out there):

May take 300 to cash in the 50/50s tonite. Many of the cheap guys are already at 20 pts before half time.

Tough nite for me. 3 of 8 with some narrow misses. Boston OT game killed me as I had no skin in it.

well i said it yesterday lol nights like these with all the stars in action you can just score 220 and alot of people did i score 297 becuase i did the scrub + stud strategy but how do u guys feel about tonight

It didn't take alot point wise to cash last night in 50/50s. Tuesday cut lines were much higher. At least in the contests I'm in.

yeah most stars flop last night i had a team with al jefferson monta ellis reggie evans ed davis collison derozan calderon james and durant

Very short schedule of games today...I was looking at lineups last night and it seems pretty hard to put together anything I really like.

Are there any good value guys out there tonight I am missing? So far I am thinking Danny Green, Chris Duhon, Aleksandar Pavlovic (if matthews and batum are out again), and Jordan Hill.

Here's what I've got for tonite

Duhon

Parker

Bryant

Ginobili

Anthony

Paviovic

Alderidge

Jamison

Chandler

Dantoni was quoted saying Hill matched up better than Jamison did vs the Cavs and that's why he started. I'm not sure how much to read into that except for the fact we probably want to play the starter tonight. Maybe we'll get word before tip.

I was in a blood bath in one-on-one matchups. A bunch of people used Ed Davis against me, and I never seriously considered him. Also got beat over the head with CJ Miles which hurt even more than Davis because I had Miles on several of my teams until about an hour before tip-off.At least I didn't get beat by only a few points. In most leagues I got boat raced by 40+ as Davis/Miles got off to very, very fast starts. Saw opponents score well over 300 against me just as kim was predicting. Ooof!

I just don't think we can really draw conclusions and say alot of NBA games = high 50/50 cut lines. That's all.

Lillard says the ankle is fine but he sat out practice yesterday. He is playing tonight. Someone has to score w/o Batum.

Just his number really. You see anything better in that range? I kinda like the rest of the lineups so he just fits.

I've been trying to make a little more room for Henderson in my lineups. But I've been going cheap at C with Biyombo, like Chaos. I don't really like any of the C matchups tonight. Hickson has been consistent of late so I'm trying to figure a way to get his salary in.Any news on Duncan as a definitive play or no play? He sometimes sits on back-to-backs. He's been playing well lately and he tends to step up against elite competition. Never know with Pop though.

I think Mello/Kidd are must starts against a porous laker defense. And under the new coach I think bryant averages ~25 FGA's which means ~9 FTA's from here on out. I'm taking a gamble that Duncan plays, sometimes the challenge of an elite opponent lights a fire under him - not that he isn't solid every night anyway. Pop could easily ruin my night though. Stevenson is starting. Not a huge fan of Neal but POR is a little depleted right now.

Made back about a third of my recent losses last night. Wish I'd stepped up with the $ a little more, but oh well.

First look at a Friday lineup came out like this:

More studs and scrubs...

60kWe'll see how this team goes. Try and go through my thought process.1) Usually build my team by picking a C first. Gasol with a premier match up @7500k 2) Filled with "Bargin Buys": Calderon and Beal are getting starter minutes. Ersan has been heating up and is facing a Cavs team that is poor against defending big man 3s.3) Now the meat and potatoes. - Monta at 7400 is lock for me vs CLE over Kobe (2nd of B2B and almost 2k+ for a 9 ppg) and I like Klay at 5900 (homer pick over Jordan Crawford). That leaves PG/SF/PF... at first tried to get something around Westbrook with Milsap, but the options at SF are terrible. So reluctantly took out Westbrook and subbed Durant. Then decided between..Brandon Jennings + Z-Bo + AffaloorStephen Curry + Milsap + KlayWent with the homer pick and also the 2nd trio are more explosive scorers which is what I use for tie breakers.

Here is one of my lineups for Friday that I am going to play in the $5 Double Up Tourney:

PG Rajon Rondo BOS @ HOU (Pre-game)

PG Jose Calderon TOR v DAL (Pre-game)

SG O.J. Mayo DAL @ TOR (Pre-game)

SG Monta Ellis MIL @ CLE (Pre-game)

SF Evan Turner PHI @ IND (Pre-game)

SF Shawn Marion DAL @ TOR (Pre-game)

PF Ed Davis TOR v DAL (Pre-game)

PF Paul Millsap UTA @ PHO (Pre-game)

C Dwight Howard LAL @ WAS (Pre-game)

Evan Turner is going to be playing PG tonight, so that makes 3 PG's in this lineup, and IND is the Top 10 for most points allowed to PG's this year. Everyone will be playing Calderon tonight, but his value and matchup is too good to pass up.

He is in 7/8 out entries for me tonight. All in on Jose.
