The TWolves management has watched Logan's Run one too many times. I heard the real problem with Jefferson was he refused to have a life clock installed.Obviously at age 25 Jefferson was too old for this team. It's like some kind of bizarre version of FFA Homer is running this team.
and Jazz have notified Wesley Matthews reps they won't match offer and will sign other guardRaja Bell to Utah
if Zaza Pachulia and his backne can get minutes, anyone canPech has game! He's just too ugly and sweaty for anyone to want to give him minutes.
Not sure if bell has anything left in his knees. Could end up a good signing though.and Jazz have notified Wesley Matthews reps they won't match offer and will sign other guardRaja Bell to Utah

Kyle Lowry to the Magic. 4/22

Kahn did an interview tonight with C-Webb calling Darko "manna from heaven."How terrible is it to be a Wolves fan right now.
I'm not sure exactly what people expect out of Kahn. Here is a good rundown of what Kahn may be thinkingCousins hit a big jump hook with 2.8 seconds left to put Sac on top by 1... and they got the win.I don't know how much this summer league action really means, but he is really playing well so far.no idea if this game is live or not but cousins looks really good. i love watching these summer league games for some reason.
In a 3 minute stretch, he called Darko a gift from heaven, compared his passing to one of the three best passing big men ever, and then compared his career arc to Chris Webber's. I'm sure his intentions were good, but it came off pretty comically (espn's bloggers were having a field day with it).Kahn did an interview tonight with C-Webb calling Darko "manna from heaven."How terrible is it to be a Wolves fan right now.
interview after the game was great. he is going to be entertaining as hell.Cousins hit a big jump hook with 2.8 seconds left to put Sac on top by 1... and they got the win.I don't know how much this summer league action really means, but he is really playing well so far.no idea if this game is live or not but cousins looks really good. i love watching these summer league games for some reason.
Was just coming in here to post about the game.Wow, he is great on the low block, reminds me exactly of Al Jefferson when he was dominating 2 years ago before his injury. Great moves and quickness. You can tell he's got a terrible attitude. Omri Casspi missed him for a wide open layup and he just looked disgusted with Casspi, ignoring a high 5, and basically shaking his head. He talked a lot of crap to the other team, and looked like he ignored his coach a couple of times. Hopefully Sacramento can keep him reigned in a bit. He needs a mentor that can talk to him, someone like Chris Webber, that he would respect. His conditioning isnt good at all, he didnt get back on D countless times. Im sure he will improve that, hopefully he wont get an attitude with the coaches when they try to push him.Great pick at 5, because he's got ROY talent. If they both play to their abilities Evans and Cousins will be a duo to remember.Cousins hit a big jump hook with 2.8 seconds left to put Sac on top by 1... and they got the win.I don't know how much this summer league action really means, but he is really playing well so far.no idea if this game is live or not but cousins looks really good. i love watching these summer league games for some reason.
Darko, Love and Ridnour are among the slowest human beings to ever play basketball.I'm not sure exactly what people expect out of Kahn. Here is a good rundown of what Kahn may be thinking
Basically, they are not signing a big name free agent. He is hitching his entire plan around Rubio being on the Wolves in 2012. He is accumulating a bunch of draft picks and loading the team with athletic guys who can run the floor

I am a diehard Wolves/Heat/Warriors fan!Jump on the Heat bandwagon like most of the DBs are doing.Wait I have no idea what this means!I'm meeting you at the iAirport to see if you'll join us, GB.

Yeah, he is a little too talkative and demonstrative out on the court for my liking... but maybe Sacramento needs someone with a little fire or swagger like he has? The team has had so little going for it the last 3-4 years (aside from Tyreke last year). As a Kings fan, I was thrilled he slipped to #5 (as the most talented big man in the draft, imo) and have been happy to hear/see he has played so well thus far. But I do agree with you, there is definitely a concern the he could be a problem with the attitude etc. As you said, a good mentor would be very beneficial for the young man.Was just coming in here to post about the game.Wow, he is great on the low block, reminds me exactly of Al Jefferson when he was dominating 2 years ago before his injury. O/U on TMac getting injured is set at 1.5 games.ETA: The more I think about, I'd have to set the O/U for between his first and last name when he is signing the deal.Tracy McGrady appears to have received an offer from the Los Angeles Clippers.
Backing up Gordon? He might due okay playing 18-22 minutes a game. What was the contract for?O/U on TMac getting injured is set at 1.5 games.ETA: The more I think about, I'd have to set the O/U for between his first and last name when he is signing the deal.Tracy McGrady appears to have received an offer from the Los Angeles Clippers.
No idea. But combining the Clippers injury history and TMac's injury history cannot be a good thing.Backing up Gordon? He might due okay playing 18-22 minutes a game. The supporting cast may be sufficient, but they are far from done completing the roster.Juwan Howard is toast, but he is a decent 4th big man. The other problem is that Ilgauskas should also be the 4th big. And so shouldn't Anthony. So, realistically, they need a defensive center who can play 25 minutes and rebound and block some shots. Someone like Dampier or even Kwame Brown (ugh). They could use a backup PG who can play 30 minutes when 1) Chalmers sucks (which is not too uncommon) and 2) in case of injuries or foul problems. Rafer Alston? Eddie House? Would Jason Williams take the minimum? But yes, this is not a team of 3 stars and 9 scrubs.Heat have picked up Miller, Illgauska's, and Haslem in the last few days. Plus they got Juwan Howard in the pipeline. I'm still waiting to hear what people think of the roster considering it was supposed to be the big three plus 9 scrubs. Is the supporting cast sufficient yet?
Besides McGrady?Has there ever been a great/HOF player who has played for 3 NBA teams before they were 30?
i don't think it matters with mcgrady. his knees are shot. he is a shell of his former self.Backing up Gordon? He might due okay playing 18-22 minutes a game. What was the contract for?
'I agree to a certain extent. I think Illgauska's is not a 4th big man. He's got a little gas left in the tank, if he can stay healthy. I think Chalmers is ok, but I love the idea of snagging Eddie House or Jason Williams. Don't care for bringing skip back. More than the big man issue I think one more sharp shooter is needed. I really would liked to have kept Cook, I think he has a future as a Kapono/Damon Jones clone. The supporting cast may be sufficient, but they are far from done completing the roster.Juwan Howard is toast, but he is a decent 4th big man. Honestly, no. Ilgauskas is 35 years old and Howard is going to be 38. When was the last time someone as big as Ilgauskas was productive past the age of 35?? Neither one of those guys are capable of playing big minutes for the Heat.I like Miller and Haslem but the Heat need a couple more quality young guys before the supporting cast can be considered sufficient.Heat have picked up Miller, Illgauska's, and Haslem in the last few days. I actually don't like any of the moves.Dwight smoked Big Z in the 2009 playoffs. Absolutely throttled him. I think the MIller addition is redundant. I suppose he could stand around and shoot threes when the D collapses on Wade/LBJ driving. But I don't see him doing much more then that. Z is a shell of what he used to be. He's a tall guy with a bit of touch around the rim. Obviously they aren't going to count on him for much O, but his D is suspect at best. Aside from giving them 6 fouls to use on Gasol, Bynum, Howard, Perkins, Amare, etc. I'm not sure what he's going to offer. Haslem is nice, but doesn't that push Bosh to the 5?They should be decent at best but all those players will be 30 or older come next season, which usually is the beginning of a sharp player decline. Also, neither Z nor Howard can be counted to on to play anything but reserve minutes... if either of them have to start they'll hurt the team more than help it. So sure Miami is getting solid players who are more known commodities but likely all of these players will regress in their play and are more likely to have the wheels fall off this season. After this influx of vets the Heat need to start signing young FA or NBDL players that offer at the very least healthy bodies. If they keep signing 30 or older vets it could bite them in the but come playoff time especially at the PG and C spots.Heat have picked up Miller, Illgauska's, and Haslem in the last few days. How do you figure? If Howard and Z is the best they can get now.... it's gonna be a long season. Looks like not many useful NBA vets are willing to sign for the minimum based on the quality of the players rumored to sign with them and once the season starts it's un-signed FA and NBDL players.Good luck with those guys facing Rondo, Howard, Boozer/Noah, Perkins/KG/JO, Pau/Bynum, etc...How do you figure?
