It's going to be process. They aren't going to just vote and be done with it. They need to get their legal ducks in a row. They need to determine what the procedures are going to be once the vote occurs. I also believe there are directives in the NBA constitution that lays out the time table for calling for the vote, making a statement about the league intentions, Sterling getting a chance to rebut that statement and then the vote happening.Any clue as to why the owners haven't voted on Sterling yet?
Additionally I'm sure all the owners want to get as much information on the situation before they commit to anything. It is an unprecedented situation that they want to make sure they control so that they are not jeopardizing themselves in the long run.
I believe the owners finance sub committee has already met twice to discuss a lot of the issues with how to handle the situation, so it's not like they are sitting on their hands.
Maybe they would have better off keeping him!
What did he do for his apt tenants who were paying rent to him??????? Um. Nothing. They lived under horrid conditions. Yeah this is the kind of guy we want to stand by. He says he made 1 mistake in 35 years. No, minimum 2 big ones. Who knows what else he's done that we don't know about.
