I still think the Cavs have interest in Embiid and that's why they are allegedly serious about these trades. I also think they will know by draft time how Lebron is leaning and that will factor into their final decision. Frankly, I don't think he is worth a lottery pick. There are 20 legit NBA point guards and probably another 3 or 4 coming out of this draft. If they need a point guard they would be better drafting Smart or Payton or signing Bledsoe or Lowry.

Kobe wasn't going to be the first pick, he was a mid lottery pick at best in '96. There is a big difference from trying to force your way to LA at the 13th pick when teams were looking at you for the 8th or 9th pick and trying to drop from 2 to 7 to get to LA. That's like a $10million difference in salaries. When he did it to Kobe it was probably more like 1 or 2 million. That is a big deal for somebody that does have some real documented injuries.
