Todem - what does LeBron gain by stringing this out if he was really 100% sold on Miami? Why wouldn't he have already verbally committed to a max deal to stay?
I'm still waiting for a logical reason why he'd wait this long to announce he's returning if its so certain he's returning. Not sure if there's a Heat superfan on this board, but if there is, could you please answer that?
Selling the drama baby...selling the drama.

The decision to amnesty Miller was the one that ends up breaking up the Heatles. Unreal.
The best case is he would've made a difference in at most one game in the finals - game 1. If Lebron leaves, its because the Cavs will be a better team over the next 6 years.

Can Heat fans get refunds on their season tickets?
Nope. We are paid and in for the 2014/15 season.

Never giving up my seats. My dad had been using them a ton this past season and post season. I usually take in 15 regular season games with my son (I live so far north in NW Broward county it is a long drive for me now about hour and 15 minutes) and go to one game a round in the playoffs these days. But we split them. And he will pay me for all the extra games plus we have sold some playoff tickets which almost pays for our next year in full.

That can all change though can it. :o
Just curious: how much do you pay for your season tickets? And how much do playoff tickets cost you (and how much can you sell them for?)

@WojYahooNBA: Lebron wants to play with Parker. Minn gets Wiggins, Cleveland gets Parker and Love, Bucks get Minn and Cleve 15, 16, 17 2nd round picks.

The fact that he strings it out has nothing to do with where he's going to end up. IIRC, after Shaq was traded, Kobe waited as long as he could to decide between the Lakers and Clippers.

It was probably more the exhaustion from carrying that team on his back all year. Maybe they don't look so ugly losing the Finals, but either way, it can't be very satisfying being in a Big 3 situation where you have to carry the team at all times.

Amnestying Miller is part of it, but it helped highlight the real issue. Wade can't carry his weight anymore and that means it's just time to move on.

100% sure now.

We would know if he was leaving Miami right now hell we would have known a week ago. Tomorrow they announce his extension along with Wade and Bosh's deals (which were already worked out I am sure).

Here is what I think. Lebron would not string Pat Riley along like this. If Lebron was leaving he would have had the respect to tell Riley weeks ago so he could have made other moves for bigger ticket free agents and be able to field a team. Sorry I just can't imagine James ####s on Riley, Arison, Spo, Bosh, and Wade and the city of Miami like that after the last 4 years. Cleveland may think he #### on them…but he gave them 7 years and that owner is a putz.

We get to have a little more fun tomorrow!
Which bigger ticket free agents have the Heat missed out on, while Lebron has strung Riley alng like this?

No, not really.

I remember that. "In 10 years they'll re-do these and make a proper version of them."

That seems important, I apologize for stepping out of line/character/dragons.

Thats cool. All these teams duke it out for a couple of years. 2016-17 the Sixers will sign Kevin Durant to go with Noel, Embiid, MCW and Saric. The league wont stand a chance.

The verdict is still out on this one. Give it time.

@JakePavorsky: Source: Sixers and Rockets Agree In Principle To Lin Deal http://t.co/PQMChNGRte
Good deal for both. Clear space for Bosh for Houston and Sixers get another 1st. Possibly the Pelicans first which would be much better than Houstons.
If it is the pelicans first then the net net is that Houston was able to give Lin and Asik to other teams for nothing despite the financial ramifications. That's pretty good. As an aside, I've read at least three sports writers make the point that Dallas is enjoying putting the pressure on Houston. Point given. But that idea fails to acknowledge that the rockets were plenty aware that might happen and planned accordingly. As if morey would have been surprised at these events and been left with his pants down. What's the worst case? They don't match, miss on bosh...and have 20 million in cap room to go after deng, pierce, Bledsoe, Marvin, gasol, etc. So let's not shed any tears for Houston just yet.

Wait, the Indians can't under draw the Rays/Marlins can they?

My Marlins season tickets a few years ago, for 4 tickets, were 8 dollars a game FOR ALL 4.

Source: After meeting with Pat Riley today, LeBron James & Rich Paul will not meet with any more teams. LJ will talk w/family & make choice.
Multiple sources confirming this.Won't even talk with Cleveland? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!
It means that Captain Quinoa and Ballsack 32 will compare their banners to the Washington Wizards.
i can actually see the foam dripping out of your mouth.Napkin?

I believe it was, "I hope I'm still alive in 30 years when they re-do these and do them justice"

You're still stuck with Dwight.

Well, getting Bledsoe is impossible, so those worst case scenarios are all pretty rough.

It seems like both Bosh and Parsons is still the most likely outcome though.

But don't worry, I won't be shedding any tears for HOU however it works out.

I had Bobcats tickets for $4.50 a clip and they were about the best upper deck seats. Gave them up after 3 years because I couldn't give the single game tickets away.

If you would like me to write in crayon so it is easier for you to read just let me know.
You write in crayon? Why do you do that?
i adapt based on the situation, when I am dealing with children crayon is usually effective.
So you write yourself messages in crayon? Is that because you went to Cleveland schools? Is that what they do there?

Interesting. I thought you were a 70 IQ moron, now I know what you are going through. Hang in there, I'm sure your kids will make it through 8th grade.

Serious question. If LeBron announces that he's coming back to Miami tomorrow because of Gilbert, will Cavs fans be mad at James or Gilbert?

I wonder the same about Miami, if he leaves I think more people will be upset with the Heat than LeBron. But i'm always wrong about everything.

hmph, dunno why I had to announce that it was a serious question.

TOR re-signs Vasquez.

Either TOR or WAS is playing CLE in the ECF next season. And probably winning it. I just can't decide which.
2 years / 13m. That's about right.
Seems pretty high to me. Guess they are paying a premium to have it a 2 year deal. Doesn't hurt them cap wise this year as they should still have close to a full MLE to use without going into tax. Shouldn't be tough to move him next summer either if they need the cap space. Good deal overall.
