Practice! Practice? We're talking about practice.I just can't understand why free agents don't want to go to LA or why Dwight left.

I gave it a try last year because I had some success with football, I lost like $50 over a few days and decided to stick to football. Are you guys all doing Daily Fantasy Games?
I like the daily NBA. I find it way easier than NFL for some reason.I gave it a try last year because I had some success with football, I lost like $50 over a few days and decided to stick to football. Are you guys all doing Daily Fantasy Games?

Wow, what an ending. Fournier with a ridiculous lay-up. Then a couple of seconds later he has Korver drill a three-pointer right in his face. Then Tobias Harris with a last second shot for the win.AAABatteries said:9 in a row for the Hawks, going for 10 in Orlando tonight. They've had an easy run of games but 10 in a row would still be impressive.
Streak ends on a buzzer beater by Orlando. Looking forward to the next couple weeks - get some tough Western Conference teams.AAABatteries said:9 in a row for the Hawks, going for 10 in Orlando tonight. They've had an easy run of games but 10 in a row would still be impressive.
Serious question whats tanking harder the Lakers or that thread?Didn't there used to be a real active lakers thread around here?
I love watching the Greek Freakboom brohans the bucks beat the clippers tonight so now they have beat the thunder the grizzaliers and the clips that is not half bad for a team that stunk up the joint so bad last year that people were saying to change the lottery system on account of it so hey boogadeeboogadeeboodadee lets go racin and take to to the bank bromigos
The Lakers will be competing for the NBA title in 2-3 years. It is going to be at least a decade before the Lakers are relevant again, if they ever become relevant again. The west is stacked with good, young, teams that will keep the Lakers on the periphery for a long time.
Not sure they will be as inept as the Knicks, for as long - but Showtime has reached the end of production.
#2 after Magic.Arguably one of the 6 best Lakers if all time
Seems like a specious claim, given that the only players under contract for 16-17 are Young and Randle, assuming his option gets picked up.The Lakers will be competing for the NBA title in 2-3 years. It is going to be at least a decade before the Lakers are relevant again, if they ever become relevant again. Of course not. Which is why it's absurd to suggest that they're a decade away.Seems like a specious claim, given that the only players under contract for 16-17 are Young and Randle, assuming his option gets picked up.The Lakers will be competing for the NBA title in 2-3 years. It is going to be at least a decade before the Lakers are relevant again, if they ever become relevant again. The Buss kids are kinda dopey and NBA rules obviously incentivize star players to stay with their own teams. There is really no guarantee of anything, long term. For any team.

If, by "competing", you mean they are still in the NBA, then yes, you are correct. But, if you mean they will be among the top-8 teams in the league, you are willfully blind. This front office will not be able to create a contender from nothing. Kobe is holding them back now, and when he is gone there is even less reason to go to the Lakers.timschochet said:The Lakers will be competing for the NBA title in 2-3 years.Sinn Fein said:It is going to be at least a decade before the Lakers are relevant again, if they ever become relevant again. What a load of ####### hogwash. They were 9-6 with Cousins (now 2-7 without). The Kings just fired Mike Malone. Ty Corbin taking over as interim coach.
Stupid on every level. The Kings just fired Mike Malone. Ty Corbin taking over as interim coach.
I may very well turn in my fan card if they hire Vinny D. Ugh.The Kings just fired Mike Malone. Ty Corbin taking over as interim coach.

The Kings have fired head coach Mike Malone, with assistant Tyrone Corbin taking over as the interim coach.
Malone reportedly "didn't meet win-loss expectations of ownership," after the Kings fell to 11-13 without DeMarcus Cousins for the past nine games. Corbin will be "afforded [the] chance" to coach the Kings all year, and he's expected to be push the team's pace at the insistence of owner Vivek Ranadive and GM Pete D'Alessandro. In addition, Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Vinny Del Negro may be a long-term candidate for the position.

this is a great link brohan but they left out the advanced stat wbhwoojfsa which stands for who bought his way out of jail for sexaul assalt which would be kobe so if they had used that one at least it would have been advantage kobe in one column which would have been nice from a charity standpoint take that to the bank bromigos
Oh god... they just might:Maybe Vivek can get that 4 on 5 defence he's dreamed of.
OKC at +500 feels a bit steep for a team who's currently sitting on a losing record and on the bubble of making the playoffs. Getting healthy though... and on a 6 game win streak, so maybe not TOO inflated?
