Midwest seems much easier than the East. Especially the top half of that bracket.East looks easy. Villanova and Duke should meet in the Elite 8 in Madison Sq. Garden.

South gonna be loaded. Bet it's UNC, Kentucky, and UCLA with either Butler or West Va as the 4 seed. West will be Gonzaga, Arizona, Florida St and either Butler/WVU.Midwest seems much easier than the East. Especially the top half of that bracket.
Butler over WVU weakens the South for me. Top 3 as strong as any. Wichita State is obviously x-factor in that bracket. Just think the Mid-West looks easiest.Ramblin Wreck said:South gonna be loaded. Same here. Blows.#### you seedng committee.

Gonzaga and Arizona against North Dakota and South Dakota St. Then some combination of Maryland, Northwestern, VCU, and Vanderbilt. Maybe St. Mary's or Xavier.I got tickets a month ago for the SLC games for all 6 games for my 16 yr old son and I to go all day this Thursday and Saturday. Anxiously awaiting who we will get to see. . .
Depends how you look at it. UK might have the hardest path of any top 8 team to the F4. But top half of that bracket is pretty mediocre.South is loaded. A UNC-UCLA game could put up 200 points
Last time it was here, Gonzaga was the 2 seed and got knocked out by the beginning surge that is now Wichita State. That was a great game to be at. Only went to the 2nd round games that year.Gonzaga and Arizona against North Dakota and South Dakota St. Then some combination of Maryland, Northwestern, VCU, and Vanderbilt. Maybe St. Mary's or Xavier.
And MN a 5 WTF?KingPrawn said:How does WI end up an 8? Second in the Big10 and runner up in the tourney. Not looking good for the rest of the Big10
I'm bringing my dad and brother to all 6 games in Sacramento. Really looking forward to it.I got tickets a month ago for the SLC games for all 6 games for my 16 yr old son and I to go all day this Thursday and Saturday. Anxiously awaiting who we will get to see. . .
Wisky RPI and SOS is poop. That's gotta be the only explanationAnd MN a 5 WTF?
:clearsthroat:UNC, UK, and UCLA all in the same bracket. That's some heavy blueblood content.
But then they gave MN, MSU a 9, and MD a 6. It makes no sense.Committee really hates the Big 10. WI 8 seed. NW a n 8 seed. MI a 7. MSU a 9. If they win they get a no. 1 or no. 2 seed
Given Gonzaga plays BYU twice a year and they will be here in Utah, do not count out how hard the crowd will be cheering for the winner of NW/VAN. It was a big factor in 2013 when Wichita State beat them. Crowd was crazy loud cheering for Wichita St. Was loud for Harvard, too, and they almost got Arizona. . .Gonzaga no excuse not to make Final 4. West Virginia is probably the biggest hurdle.
NCAA is a joke. Can't watch any games knowing they are a joke. Follow the $$$$ and the NCAA is as corrupt as any.KingPrawn said:How does WI end up an 8? Second in the Big10 and runner up in the tourney. Not looking good for the rest of the Big10
Princeton/NDNorthwestern/Vandy = highest academic ranked first round game?
Uh, Princeton/NDNorthwestern/Vandy = highest academic ranked first round game?
Think Notre Dame beats West Va. ND can be tough if they are hitting 3's but I expect Gonzaga and Arizona to play in the Elite 8.Gonzaga no excuse not to make Final 4. West Virginia is probably the biggest hurdle.
Hmm...I don't really think of ND as being that highly rated academically. I mean like top 15 nationally. I could be wrong surely.Princeton/ND
You have proven wrong so many times so that will never happen. However, I had stated that Oregon would be a 1 seed over Gonzaga if they beat Arizona. The injury to Boucher was a killer. We don't know what would have happened otherwise.@Don't Noonan please start listening to me, megahomer
What a coincidence, they're tied for 15th in US News ranking. Guess who's #1?Hmm...I don't really think of ND as being that highly rated academically. I mean like top 15 nationally. I could be wrong surely.

Lol ok. I set you straight a few months ago in football season as well. You keep posting your dumb wrong takes. You have no idea how any of these selection processes work. You have proven wrong so many times so that will never happen. However, I had stated that Oregon would be a 1 seed over Gonzaga if they beat Arizona. The injury to Boucher was a killer. We don't know what would have happened otherwise.
They get the easiest two seed in Louisville so they have a chance to make a run. Louisville going to have trouble with Michigan/Oklahoma State in round two. Oregon should easily beat Creighton/Rhode Island playing in Sacremento. You have proven wrong so many times so that will never happen. FMPNorthwestern/Vandy = second highest academic ranked first round game?
Louisville/Jacksonville StNorthwestern/Vandy = highest academic ranked first round game?
That's not true at all. He said Duke started the week as a 4 seed and worked their way up. What are you listening to exactly? The chairman is basically saying we seeded these guys a few days ago and don't care what happened the last 48 hours in terms of UNC and Duke. Weird.
Not sure you needed to fix it. It's completely subjective but you can certainly make a solid case for Northwestern and Vanderbilt being academically superior, in a close call, to Notre Dame and Princeton.
