Wvu played well until the last 4 or so minutes. Then they went cold shootining. Kansas ended up shooting better than 50% from 3.

This Kansas team isn’t the best I’ve seen, but they are fun to watch.

They hit like 20 3s and it was still tight at the end.  I think they are an early exit like most of Kansas s teams

Well, he's not wrong.

It is possible that he was saying in the context that they would no longer have to worry about being on the bubble thanks to the autobid.
A little paraphrase here, but very close: “Well guys I think USC can get themselves off of that bubble line tonight with a win over AZ.” Not a trace of irony in his voice. Partners didn’t even acknowledge it. He is a nincompoop, but it is a mute point now.

Some funny teams in this year (i.e. uncommon).

UMBC (2nd time ever)

Lipscomb (1st)

Radford (3rd)

CS Fullerton (3rd)

Marshall (1st since 1987)

Wright St (3rd)

Loyola-Chicago (1st since 1985)

UNCG (3rd)

UNC Central (3rd, though they were in last year)

*Buffalo excluded since they are building a dynasty.

Do you by chance have high blood pressure?

I watched Loyola the other day. That team can play. Woe unto the major that draws them and takes them lightly, because said major will be sitting on their asses back home next weekend.

Won’t be surprised when people consistently pick Kansas as the early upset victim. Beware, teams with deep senior leadership tend to advance. Svi and Graham have a ton of experience. Add in a red hot Newman?

We’ll see. Teams that live and die by the three eventually die in the tourney. Having big Doke back would make me feel a lot better.

Guard play is also why I’ll have WVU getting deep as well. Miles and Carter are a tough pair.

I think Xavier will be the popular early upset victim.  14th kenpom ranked team with a projected 1 seed and all.  Kansas to a lesser extent but it will depend on matchup.  Kansas is 45th in defensive efficiency which is a minor red flag.

Wait so Baylor didn’t make it? I thought they were in for sure. OU over Baylor and Ok State is laughable

Someone explain Arizona St over Southern Cal.  Didn't USC finish several spots higher in the Pac 12 and make it to the final?

Please send Syracuse to the First 4 in Dayton.  Just to give Boeheim something to cry about.
