Need help with my LB'S! (1 Viewer)

Normally, I'm overly prepared for offense and defense, but with a few new demands on my time this year I just could not do as much as I would have liked to get ready for my drafts. The result was that my defensive preperation was limited. So I used mostly info I gathered from FBG's and a little of my own stuff, when drafting this past Saturday. We start 3 at each position, LB,DB, DL, and get 1/solo, 3/sack, 4/int, 12/td, assists are nothing. My question is, I have the following LB's:M. PetersonA. PierceL. ArringtonO. ThurmanI plan on playing Peterson and Pierce very week, but do not know enough about Arrington this year, and Thurman in general to make an educated decision on who I should go with both for week 1, and beyond.Any thoughts or info on either would be appreciated.

Peterson and Pierce are your starter but Keep a eye on Arrington if he looks like his old self I would pencil in him for Pierce... I would trade one of them for another position if you use dls or dbs.. Please dotn forget to reply to my post

Thanks ebby.Like I said, I need to start 3 LB'S each week, with Peterson and Pierce being locks. Is Arrington going to play enough week 1 to warrant starting him over Thurman? Would it be best to wait and see on him, and go with Thurman to start?I'd hate to sit Arrington against that CHI offense week one, only to see him get 2+ sacks.

Start Thurman this week - he's gonna play. Arrignton is still rounding into form. By week 3 or so we'll know about Arrington for sure.

Arrington's going to be a designated pass rusher on passing downs until they're sure his knee can handle the load of a full-time role, and he's back into game shape. BTW, Pierce is probably worth more than Arrington even ignoring the fact that Arrington's not starting yet. I saw someone suggest otherwise but that's silly.

Romeo will try to run the ball a ton against the Bengals, so I think Thurman is a safe bet to start week 1. As long as he doesn't make too many mental mistakes he will keep the starting role all year and post nice stats.

I am starting him myself in two leagues. I think he is going to take off and never look back!

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'd love to respond to yours, but like I said I'm not really up on my defense this year, so my opinion would not mean much. I think I will go with Thurman, and just do a wait and see on Arrington. The only reason I considered Arrington was because he is going against CHI. I think they will give up some sacks. If Thurman can get me 6 or so solos, I'll be happy.
