Need some help setting up an Excel auction spreadsheet (1 Viewer)

I'm not very good at Excel. Here's what I could use some help with:

I'm looking to get an Excel spreadsheet set up with 14 tabs (14 teams).

The spreadsheet would have a place to enter in draftee's name, position, team and how much he was won for.

$200 budget - 15 places drafted. The most important part is to have a field showing how much of the $200 can be bid on any one player at any point during the draft.

I'd also like to get a second one that shows 16 places drafted with the other variables the same.

I'll manually type in the names and amounts. Just need to see how much has been spent and how much an owner can bid on any one player keeping in mind that there is a minimum of $1 that must be allocated to each drafted player. I have no clue how to put this type of sheet together.

Your help is greatly appreciated in advance. Thanks!

DraftDominator has a screen for this exactly. And much more. Try the free version before your draft if you're not a subscriber. It has a screen that will show you for every team in the draft number of players drafted with the total amount spent, number of players needed and draft amount remaining, max bid for each team, etc. etc. etc. in a single summary view. This tool alone will make it worth your while to subscribe.

Thank you. Can I take you up on it now?

You can definitely show all of that already in Draft Dominator.

Assuming you're putting this on a monitor for everyone to see, I can only think of 2 things you'd want to do so it didn't provide any edge. Clear the projections and ADP info.

Replace the projections with all 0's. Easy enough to do, grab the Excel VBD and paste a 0 into every stat and then import to Draft Dominator.

Export the ADP info from Draft Dominator's Export menu. Open in Excel, make them all the same number, and Import back in.

I am a subscriber and looked at DraftDominator and I didn't see what you described.

Under "Team Stats" the columns in white are Amt Paid, Amt Left, Max Bid with the colorful columns being players drafted by position. If you also have "Team Data" open, then clicking on a team on Team Stats will show you that team's draft details in the Team Data screen.

ETA: You have to go into the League setup and turn on the Auction setting, it's a checkbox.

Draft Dominator- Draft Status window.

$200 budget - 15 places drafted. The most important part is to have a field showing how much of the $200 can be bid on any one player at any point during the draft.

File -> Setup ... set it up as a 15 round draft and hit the auction league button and enter the cap.

Amount spent/remaining/max bid shown in Team Stats window.

I'd also like to get a second one that shows 16 places drafted with the other variables the same.

Draft Summary will show you all selected players. Draft Board might show all at once grouped by team, would have to test with an auction to be sure.

Team by team views would be in Team Data.

I'll manually type in the names and amounts. Just need to see how much has been spent and how much an owner can bid on any one player keeping in mind that there is a minimum of $1 that must be allocated to each drafted player. I have no clue how to put this type of sheet together.

Dang - that's confusing as hell.

I really just want a self created spreadsheet.
