***NEW*** 5 Minute Drill for Week 1! (1 Viewer)

Thx, Marc. So, I just got done posting in MOP's thread that I'm still playing Benson and Jacobs despite matchups and come here to find Sigmund validating my decision. also on board with benching Young vs. Jax.

Good work as always boys. Too bad about the timing on the CPepp news, but hey - that's how it goes.

You need to give the Chupacabra it's own minute - you know, like the characters on 'Put Up Your Dukes'....

.......

On second thought, keep it as is....

Chances are, you didn't draft an RB3 that is clearly a better play - although Green and Chester Taylor are two guys consistently going after them in drafts that make better plays this week imo. I also wanted to get the point across that no one should give up Jacobs or Benson if they struggle this week - both face matchups that are among the toughest theyll face all year.

ah, so maybe i heard what i wanted in your reco. no my bench is julius jones and leon w. ( just a late pick flier). (and with no ppr, i don't like playing a wr in the flex). i have hopes for julius to make the lineup later in the season, but going with my draft order for week one. (eta for clarification - jacobs and benson are rb2 and rb3/flex; gore is rb1)

Very good info as always TY..notice went into those middle players..thats what we need to hear!.Also notice no one is showing (show that JOE) yet!

So far I've consistently wished these were "The 10 Minute Drill" - awesome information and really cool format.

The only thing I disagree with is that Tye Hill CAN cover Steve Smith. Tye runs a 4.3 , has a great vertical and has been covering holt, bruce and Bennett all camp and doing quite well. Tye Hill is a future pro bowler.

Well, I haven't seen his camp practices but every time I see his game footage, I see a cocky gambler who's as likely to get beat as make a play. Maybe I'm missing something, but from where I sit, he's ripe for exposure. He has tools, but he's not disciplined, IMHO. We'll see on Sunday if he can hang...

Wish you would have been definitive about Randy Moss, but good job overall!
We wish we could be, too. We went round and round on him the night before. is this whole thing a ruse? is he really rusty? was that little smile he flashed in the press conference incidental or did it give away that he knows that he's about to blow up? What a vexing guy.One thing we do agree on is that Moss hasn't been "the guy" in 3 years, and you can't just turn on the juice, even when you're as talented as he is. He hasn't had to play at the Patriots' level of intensity on every snap... ever. And even if he has a hotshot week 1, it'll take more than that to convince me you want him on your team this entire season.

Interesting point about Caddy this week at seattle, do you guys like him better than ronnie brown vs washington this week?

and as always awesome show.

There are question marks about both RB and Caddy, but I would go with Williams this week. Thanks for watching!

Moss is a sneaky SOB. His press conference had me and Faletti (Bloom didn't buy the look) wondering if he was just playing possum. As we said, this is the wait and see week with Moss. Thanks for watching!

Thanx for producing something highly watchable - and entertaining, too. It looks like you guys all have a blast putting these things together.
Thanks! We have a really good time during the shoot, as well as when we're haggling over what players/opinions to include. We're definitely going for the "have fun without sacrificing content/quality" vibe. Glad you dig it.

Ok so help me out here. Sigmund Bloom says to sit Lee Evans in Week 1.

However his "second opinion" projections for Week 1 say that he will get 17 points.

Which one is right?

I'm starting him regardless (he's my #3 WR) but I was curious about the discrepancy.
I dont remember recommending sitting Lee Evans in week 1. I think he'll do just fine, even with Champ Bailey covering him, because Losman loves to wing it and let Evans make a play at least a few times a game. Sorry for any confusion.

I'm guessing he's been playing possum. I think you'll see more and more established stars missing most of the pre-season with "nagging injuries". Although I do agree for an undisciplined WR on a new, tough love type of team, it seems less likely.

Great show guys, i have Benson as my #2 back and am sitting him for this week......it helps when you have LT (playing Julius and Tatum)...keep up the good work, i'll be back every week.......
