Happy Turkey Day (a little early), sharks!

We've got a free and filling plate of 5 Minute Drill to add to your Thanksgiving buffet:

We're all about giving thanks this week. Whether it's for the Jets handing off to TJ finally, the schedule-makers for giving the Bus D such an easy road, or Cecil for his sweet, sweet 'do, we're grateful.

Enjoy your holiday!

I want to give thanks for everyone who has been along for the ride from the first episode, and every new viewer we get - you guys are the best audience anywhere

I'm assuming we're all happier not knowing WTF a "Wild Turkey Surprise" is, right? RIGHT?!? But, I digress.

I was sort of hoping for some "WR depth for your playoff run" love this week. Lower-end types that may have a shot for production if you're forced. Given that I'm a Coles owner, I may just be forced. I've been eyeballing ol' Joe Jurevicius for a couple weeks now. Not because he's been that fantabulous, although in PPR he's been passable since their bye, but because that schedule the Browns have is laughably cake: Texans, Cardinals, Jets, Bills and Bengals the rest of the way. He's just sitting there on another owner's roster and I'm pretty sure I can get him for some pocket lint and a packet of Heinz ketchup. Mmm...ketchup.

I'm sure there are other WRs like Joe in similar situations that I'm forgetting. Guess I'll have finish my own legwork this time. Bastards.

Dumb question: where do I find the Drill link each week? I think it used to be on the home page for each week's info but I haven't seen it in a while and thought the Drill was no longer being created?

JJ is a good one - here's a few more:Justin Gage is getting more snaps ahead of Brandon Jones and VY is really coming along as a passer.Cedrick Wilson/Nate Washington could be interesting guys if Holmes high ankle sprain costs him significant time.Brad Smith is getting snaps and targets with the latest Coles injury, and Clemens seems to look his way a lot more than Pennington did.Sidney Rice still has mega upside and Jackson was actually over 75% passing last week.Michael Jenkins seems to have better timing with Harrington on the short routes and working the middle, especially in the red zone.

Wild Turkey Surprise is an obscure Bugs Bunny reference. There was one episode where he was cooking for the Tasmanian Devil, and he prepared Wild Turkey Surprise. Taz said, "Wild Turkey Surprise?!?!"

I  Bugs

I remember that, now that you mention it. Swiss cheese memory, etc.

Thanks for the input, Sig. Being a Steeler fan myself, I just can't get that excited about Wilson or Nate Washington. Both are consistently inconsistent. Brad Smith....I dunno. Loved him at Mizzou, but his hands just look bad to me. I'll have to look more closely at Rice and Jenkins. On MJ, if he has better "shine" with Harrington wouldn't that devalue him with Leftwich supposedly starting going forward?
