New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks Playoff Thread (1 Viewer)

Why was the play stopped? Shouldn't they have allowed it to continue? I mean, I guess it's a moot point but I wonder if that was a legal move by the refs.

Have to laugh that the Saints get OPI, but Seattle with all the grabbing and holding does not get called!! I hope Denver gets the calls Seattle got today, tomorrow!
Another fisherman jumping in. They played a very clean game today.
No fishing, just stating a fact is all. And they may have played a cleaner game than normal, but the calls they get away with most teams do not.

You can call it fishing, I call it being real, and I had Seattle winning.

So relying on your defense to stop them 3 times with 2:40 left and then scoring a td and 2 pt conversion is equivalent to driving the length of the field for a td and 2 pt conversion, converting an onside kick and then scoring another td with 2 pt conversion. I'd like to see the odds guys give me the probability of thos things happening.

Saints D played amazing today. It's not often that it's the offense that lets them down, but two missed FG's, multiple dropped passes and that gimmie fumble by Ingram make an 8 point game make you think woulda shoulda coulda.

I think SF gives this Seattle team fits next week.

Wow, lots of luck for both teams but neither team seemed to want to grab it. Good call on Lynch taking a knee to run out the clock. Lack of #1 WR still killing the Hawks O. Hope Percy can recover from the concussion for next week, you can see how much of a game changer he can be. Good Great game by Saints D. Saints fans I like, any other team but Seattle and I'd be rooting for them almost as loud and much as the homers.

Three plays with no timeouts after 2:40 would get you to 0:40 left.

Much like the Eagles game they were already in FG range. Down two scores regardless unless their holder went laces out but let's see the odds of that.

All schtick aside, you have a great team to root for there and I wish you guys luck getting to the Superbowl. I'll be rooting for them next week.
