Staley may lack explosiveness, but you have to love how hard he runs and plays. Including the Packers game, he may be doing a good job of auditioning for a starting gig next year.

 
It may come down to the Eagles committing to the run. But from what I heard anyway, the Eagles are notoriously slow starters, and start playing better once they are down.Wow, the Panthers' defensive line is good. Another sack on McNabb.

 
The announcers said the truest thing in teither of these games so far - the Eagles have to be thinking "uh-oh, here we go again." Same as the previous two Championship appearances.What do we say about McNabb and the Eagles if they lose THIS game, huh? Window shut?

 
I just knew we were in for a snoozer of a football weekend, when all but one of the explosive offenses were eliminated. Then Peyton throws a ton of picks. We need to change the saying "defense wins championships" to "without defense, you don't even qualify".

 
:snort: Whoa! I just nodded off and had a nightmare of the Panthers winning the super bowl 7-6 over the Patriots with Jake Delhomme winning super bowl MVP.

 
Wasn't on the computer during the play McNabb got injured, but I can't believe that Collingsworth was whining about the late hit ("....three seconds after the play was over....").I don't know what game he is watching, but you couldn't tell if McNabb was down on that play or not, it wasn't whistled dead, good aggressive physical football IMHO.

 
You know the game is boring when they interview Darrell during halftime.

Sorry, but I cannot get into watching a bunch of cars going around in circles (even if it is fast). Car racing is probably like hockey, where it is a lot better to be there live than it is to watch on TV.

That was a nightmare rerun, but had Baltimore winning the Bowl, and Dilfer the MVP....... :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
 
That Ricky Manning kid is really impressive...I've seen him quite a few times this year, and was shocked when I found out he was a rookie.

 
I think the biggest problem with the team is they don't have any playmakers BESIDES McNabb. Now he's hobbled, and they have very little life remaining.

2003 Eagles = 1980s Broncos?I'm seeing a lot of similarities between McNabb and Elway. Both are great athletes and solid qbs, but neither has a good supporting cast. Both are good enough to get your team to the big game only to lose it.

The Eagles seem to be one of those defensive teams trying to win it all with average players on the offensive side of the ball. Some teams have gotten away with it, (Bucs, Ravens) while others have had theird offenses develop into a finely tuned machine (Pats).I just don't see anyone on the Eagles offense doing much, except for McNabb and Staley. And they don't even intend to re-sign Staley. I'm not impressed.
 
The Eagles WRs are a pathetic bunch. They can't run proper routes, gain any seperation, and make the catch in traffic. Those last 2 ints. are on the wrs, not McNabb.

 
Foster doesn't seem as "quick" today as last week.I will say this, he needs to work on his upper body strength. He is not the type of back who takes a pile and falls forward.

 
Biggest plays of the game so far... that PASS INF call just now, and De.Foster sticking with that run to get across the goal line. Buh bye iggles.

 
Wow incredible run at the goal by DeShaun Foster for a TD. On a pitch out, he broke at least 3 tackles and extended the ball out for a score. Eagles had that sniffed out, just couldn't make the play. 14-3 Panthers.

 
Carolina should be kicking the Iggs' arses even more than they are now. Fox is playing it awfully close to the vest offensively, probably rightly so.And to echo the sentiment of many here, the Iggs' receivers blow bubbles. :yucky:

 
if the iggles continue to blow, this may be a fun week in the Shark Pool. :brush:

Its almost the start of the 4th quarter. Delhomme has 86 yards passing. McNabb has 100 yards passing.

No. I posted that after his 2nd run of the day when he got stood up just before the 1st down marker.I still think he has to work on his upper body technique, but that was a gutsy TD run.
 
How did Collingsworth ever get himself on TV. The guy is a freekin moron.This post editted to circumvent the language filter.

McNabb took a hard hit on that failed 3rd down try and laid on his back for a bit in pain. He got up with help and walked off, tho.

 
I know I'm going out on a HUGE limb here, but we saw our Super Bowl a little earlier today. :ph34r: Though the Panthers, if they win, will be an underdog reminiscent of the '69 Jets, the '94 (?) Chargers and some of those Bronco teams in the '80's.

 
Koy Detmer is warming up on the sidelines as McNabb grimaces in pain on the sidelines. Looks like Donovan is done for the day.

 
Steve Smith fumbles it away on after a big gain. Challenge flag out as his knee may have been down.
