NFL QBs Keith Olbermann would take ahead of Favre (1 Viewer)

What a stupid topic by Olbermann who keeps coming up with ways of being a bigger windbag than an hour ago.
At the time that Olbermann said this, it was a relatively good prediction. Nobody would have expected Favre to do as well as he is this year. Olbermann is actually very intelligent and a devoted fantasy owner who's damn funny on top of it.
What was Keith Olbermann like as a child?
What does that have to do with a prediction made months ago?
Sorry. I thought you must be his father after reading your post.
Why?

All you had to say is that you disagree. If you've ever watched his show you'd probably agree with me. He makes Limbaugh look like a blubbering moron.

Even back in May and not knowing what Favre was going to do, I'd have to seriously question the football acumen of anyone who would "definitely" take Michael Vick or Philip Rivers over Favre. Vick was easily the most over-rated player in football before his run-in with the law and while I do like Rivers he'd only had one season as a starter and he wasn't even great in that one season. He was just decent most of the time. So even in May, putting those two on a list ahead of Favre suggests you don't know what the hell you're talking about.I'd cut him some slack with the rest of his definitely list. The "maybe" list is a pretty huge joke, though, too. McNair, Pennington and Grossman are all worse than Favre by a considerable margin.Olbermann deserves to be called out for this in my opinion. It's pretty weak stuff.

If you want to talk about bitter washed-up has beens, Keith Olbermann is your man.I just read the book "ESPN: The uncensored history" and EVERYONE hated Olbermann. He was and is the consumate jerk. If he is on NBC I will not be watching. Olbermann is a sad waste of flesh.
 I used to enjoy he and Patrick together, but I couldn't agree more. I cannot stand his self-absorbed garbage.

It was obviously a very poor prediction; many expected Favre to excel this year, as evidenced in this thread; Olbermann's intelligence is at best a matter of opinion and he hasn't been the least bit funny for many many years. You may be correct that he's a devoted fantasy owner, so you got 1 out of 5 correct.

Thanks, Dan. :hifive:
