Last couple of years, seems like they've shown NFL Red Zone for free to boost subscribers for the year.

I'm not getting it free this year.

Doesn't look like it.Related question: I have Verizon FiOS. I thought I had RedZone this year but apparently I don't. Just went on the Verizon website and ordered it ten minutes ago. Any chance it will activate on my cable box today?

Are people complaining because it's not free?

I pay about $5-$10 a month on Comcast for it and think it's worth every penny.

I understand why folks would be sore if it usually is free but maybe they felt they have given it away enough and it sells itself at this point.

Is there a way you can call and order it so you have it for the rest of the day?

I called Comcast a couple weeks ago to make sure I would be OK today.

I have Verizon. I got aN email a few weeks ago telling me I had to activate it but that it was free. I activated it that day and I have it right now. It did take about 15 minutes from time of activation to get it OKed.

if you are a DirecTV user, you can call them up and get RedZone added for free, even without a subscription to Sunday Ticket.

Activated it through the box. Go to the redone channel and click OK.

no, no, no. i wasn't complaining because i wasn't getting it free. well, maybe to some extent that is what it seemed like. i was merely asking if anyone else was getting it free like we have the past two years. i don't care if i have it or not ... i watch my team from 1-4 so i don't need it except for commercials.

I have a 50Mbps Comcast connection, and same lame ### buffering issues on PS3 Sunday Ticket as last season. Just horrific.

Red Zone is free tomorrow for some broadcasting systems.

"The free preview will be available to customers on Cox, DirecTV, Dish, Verizon Fios, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Sling, Xfinity, and select other television providers. Notably, the free preview will not be available on the streaming service NFL+."
