**NFL Saturday Doubleheader - Texans 9-5 at Chiefs 13-1**(-3.5, 42) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Reports today say Cousins will be released by the Falcons
$40M in dead cap with no real savings and that's Post June-1st...
Someone is going to tell the Falcons to simply pick up his salary since they gonna pay for it on the cap anyways
Falcons should still be able to milk a draft pick out of this

Where do these reports come from?

Wrong thread. MOP are you hung over or something?
I have it on some good info he had a six pack after his AM tennis game.

Brilliant time for a CB blitz.

ETA: Wonder if Texans get the ball again?
Absolutely- Spags is good at his job

Slowik? Not so much. O-line had zero clue how to block on that play. Two interior OL guys blocked nobody. Geniuses.

Seems like some elementary school strategy there. I guess that could work on Bobby. Never makes proper adjustments :kicksrock:

Went from a hot commodity last offseason to I'm not sure he will get a serious interview this offseason.
Its another reminder that sample size matters. With coaches and players.

7/60 for Collins. Not a global killer in PPR but disappointing for sure.

You get a tackle if you play in an IDP league and get credit for things like that. So it’s like 8/70 if you have that kind of scoring.

But totally disappointing. My strength is my receivers. Starting D. Adams, J. Chase, N. Collins, B. Thomas Jr., Ladd McConkey, B Hall, K. Miller or T. Tracy or C. Reynolds. So far McConkey and Collins have been meh. Don’t know how I’ll pull it out. Can’t win with meh this week.

Only his second year but Stroud needs to clean that type of stuff up.
Its only been 30 starts or so, but I do wonder if Stroud might be more of a Baker Mayfield level guy, than a truly elite player. Obviously, a lot of teams would kill for even that (especially on a rookie deal) but its been a pretty noticeable sophomore slump, that would probably look worse if the AFC South wasn't the NFL's worst division. Not knocking Stroud, just maybe re-assessing him.
Stroud can’t carry Baker’s jock. :flagplant:

I wonder if Stoud uses Baker’s washing machine at Raymond James Stadium to wash it?

Scent beads are extra.

Yep. He'll be lucky if the Texans bring him back. Demeco's loyalty is his only hope.

Can’t have that in the playoffs. Brutal.

A touch overstated. If he’s your WR1, then yeah, you can’t. But if he’s your WR3 you might be able to survive. I’m still sort of in it.
True. Chase is my #1. Opponent has Sutton and Jefferson so a bigger day by Collin’s would’ve been awesome.

Yeah, that’s a good number one. That’s also a tough matchup although Sutton pulled a 10 the other day, so you’re looking at a lead, really. Collins had 13. If Chase can outscore Jefferson (and no reason he wouldn’t), you’re ahead of the game.

Even as your #1, it's about 4/5 points below predictions. Sucks but definitely something you can overcome.

Ah, yes. No doubt. Depends who your other guys are. It’s not a killer and certainly not a global killer. I happen to be going up against a rough opponent, so it’s a bit tougher to take. Plus, it’s also temperament. Some guys are so used to winning that 50/50 feels like they’re behind, and five points off of predictions can feel like worlds caving.

I’m sticking with “meh.” That’s two meh weeks in a row out of Nico. But if you’re dynasty and you have Nico, the chances (chances) are that you didn’t invest a whole ton and found him there on your bench last year. So it’s hard to complain. Personally I got him for Christian Watson and a second and third before he totally blew up, but that was still a steep price. I still think Watson is going to be excellent in this league and Green Bay has made a concerted effort to get him the ball, so who knows how that trade will work out.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But yeah, would have liked more out of Nico today. Seems like KC was deliberately playing cover two and bracketing him everywhere.

He really shouldn’t be back. This offense has been a trainwreck all year and Stroud went backwards.

Hunt near 16 pts wasted on all my benches I hate Pacheco ever came back should saved him for the NFL playoffs

Mahomes on a gimpy ankle
Texans have underperformed all year imop
Texans can get pressure
Chiefs D solid
I'll say maybe one TD for The Texans
And two for The Chiefs
With some field goals sprinkled in
So...

K.C.- 26
Houston- 16
THIS close

Feels like the Chiefs have mastered the "Patriot way" late career Tom Brady mode for winning in the NFL...
1) Dominant defense
2) Run game just enough to keep the clock running and stay in manageable 3rd downs
3) Dink and dunk with very safe passes and dominate the time of possession
4) Focus on fundamentals and situational football in all three phases
5) Let the other team beat themselves

Sounds easy, and when you combine HOF coaches w/ HOF QBs it looks easy.
