Hmm, two years ago Pujols said that he thought that players whose team did not make the playoffs shouldn't win the MVP award (when the Phillies didn't make the playoffs and the Cards did). Wonder how he feels about that now

How Pujols feels about it has nothing to do with the voting. Besides, he should have won it in '06, so you could say that this sorta makes up for it.Also, if you were going to retroactively take away MVPs from guys whose teams didn't make the playoffs, then you had better give Pujols several more for the years he finished 2nd to Bonds (when SF was missing the playoffs).Hmm, two years ago Pujols said that he thought that players whose team did not make the playoffs shouldn't win the MVP award (when the Phillies didn't make the playoffs and the Cards did). Howard was jobbed. Someone should launch an investigation. I wouldnt be surprised to learn that Selig was behind all of this. Seriously.
