Only problem with that is the Wings have been going to Western Conference Finals for years and have three Stanley Cup titles in the past ten year. Tickets for playoff games in the 90s and for most of this decade have not been easy to get and near impossible in 95-99. Last year I paid $1500 for two World Series tickets.Basically what I'm saying is Phoenix should be ashamed. They are barely better than the Marlins at this point.ETA: Oh and Baseball>>>>>>>>>>Hockey in popularity

Police arrest scalper with 58 Rockies tickets

A ticket scalper near Coors Field was arrested today for selling a pair of tickets to an upcoming Rockies playoff game for triple the face value, police said.
The man had 58 Rockies playoff tickets and a spreadsheet showing that he hoped to make $14,000 profit on the illegal sales, said Lt. Ron Saunier, a police spokesman.
The alleged scalper, who was not identified by police, had purchased 60 tickets, totaling $3,090, for the upcoming series against the Arizona Diamondbacks through a Coors Field ticket window before they sold out, Saunier said.
Police said the man had already sold two tickets before his arrest.
Saunier said the man sold two $100 seats to two undercover officers Wednesday for $300 a piece.
He faces possible misdemeanor charges and possible fine of up to $900, police said. The tickets were all confiscated by the police.

1-1 with three games. ERA was 2.84 and pitched 19 innings. 13 K, 6 BB, 1 HR, 19 hits, 6 R, 6 ER.His last start was the worst going 6 innings and giving up 4 runs @ Colorado. (Loss)His second start was the best going 7 innings with 0 runs @ Arizona. (WIN)His first start was 6 innings and giving up 2 runs @ Colorado. (ND)

Bottom of the order was pretty dead in the Division series. Probably an effort to jazz things up down there.
Yorvit had 3 RBI and hit .500.

Not surprising at all. Only had the showing in first round because the Cubs were in town. 75% or more of the people living here are transplants from elsewhere and have no allegiance to this team. If the Sox and D'backs make the series, you'll see the place filled. Cleveland, probably not. Passed up a couple free tickets for 2nite's game. It's really not worth the hassle with the construction in downtown Phoenix. I don't blame people for not going, downtown Phoenix is a mess. The D'backs will always be the #3 sports team in town behind the Suns and Cards.-------------------Best time to see games IMO is spring training here. Especially Cub games in Mesa

Since they went on their winning streak it's the only jersey they have worn. Rocks are very superstitious.Do the Rockies only have these ugly black jerseys? Don't think I've seen them wear anything different, home or away.
