No Stimulus Check thread (1 Viewer)

I finally broke the code this morning. I was able to enter my Direct Deposit info finally.

I have owed and filed by snail mail the last two years. My check I mailed with this year's return cleared my bank Wednesday morning.

I was finally.in the Check Your Payment system this morning.

I had to enter my 2018 info to establish identity since my 2019 return still hasn't been officially processed since it's paper.

Maybe I'll see the money in May instead of late July.
Ditto.

Anyone know the average wait time for unemployment? I am going on 5 weeks with nothing and it's getting a little scary here. :oldunsure:

are you certifying for benefits every week?

one of ouf employees filled, was cleared for benefits ... then just sat back expecting checks to roll in.

he called me to tell me he hadn't received a check yet, some 3 weeks after initially filing.

turns out he had to certify weekly, by filling out a brief questionnaire online ("were you looking for work?", etc)

once he caught up he had the full 3 weeks deposited.

State by state unfortunately.

I have gotten all my checks (state and federal). Direct deposited two days after filing each week

I can finally get to the screen to enter my direct deposit info and now it is telling me that my info doesn't match what is in their system. I even logged in to my tax account to make sure the AGI and payment matched. Now I'm locked out for 24 hours again. Ugh.

Finally got the "Enter Your Info" thing on the "Get Payment" page. Just had to enter the line 7 value from the 2018 return, the amount I owned, then the routing and account number for the checking. It took it so now well see how long it takes. I did realize we won't get the full amount. I guess I'm not gonna complain about that.

When do they start sending out the $2k a month that I need? My vote is for sale in NOV and this is a surefire way to buy it.

This is my story from this morning as well. I have yet to file for 2019 and I filed our 2018 return in Oct. We owe for 2018. After I entered my info and it went through, I logged back in to enter my wife's info and was happy to note that they already had her info and she had the same eligible status as me. We filed jointly.

Lol sounds like McConnell isn’t gonna let this happen. Figures people can get by for 6 months off 1200 bucks.

Finally got into the portal to enter my information. Happy this happened now since I just mailed off 2019.

Yes I have done that every week. I check the status and it is "active issues"

I see no way to tell what those issues are.

Tried but there is none of that available. I just get a message saying we are to busy to take your call.
I realize all states are different, but I’d be shocked if there’s not an email address on their site somewhere

I had some questions a few wks ago and emailed. It took almost 2 wks but I got a response

#me too.

now that I've processed my info... we'll see how long it takes to get payment. I'm hoping for before July... but expectations are low.

A post I saw which prompted me to look again was posted on Thursday, and he got some kind of notification that he'd get his next week. I did mine yesterday. This morning, I went through the process again, and the final screen said that page would update later with a time frame. I'm going to wait until Monday to check again.

The site is a mess. A lot of people getting "Payment Status Not Available" for none of the reasons listed in the FAQ's.
I was FINALLY allowed to enter my direct deposit info just now.  I was getting that message for weeks.  Did it on my desktop and not the phone this time fwiw.

Getting mine directly deposited April 30.  I owed this year  but gave the IRS my direct deposit information to facilitate a faster payment.  Gave that information to them on April 12 so I’m happy it took less than three weeks to get my money.

checked mine yesterday and it finally updated to april 30th

Anyone happen to get a passport during this?

My daughter's came like 6 weeks. Just before everything started.  We turned ours in and it was received 2/26.   I know they say there will be delays. I'm at 2 months.   Just curious

Status still says processing

Lost my card (I use it for ID mostly) so I had to go through a new request. There was some issue with my photo at 6 weeks and that was 4 weeks ago. Same status message. No idea what’s going on, but they also have my passport book which I want back more. Glad my Switzerland trip in June was moved to next year or I’d probably be SOL.

Still won't take my direct deposit info.. "doesn't match our records".... guess I'll have to wait for a check.
I went through that for a few days until I got a match. Tried 2019 first and then 2018. Make sure you put in adjusted gross income and if you owed money the entire amount owed.

2018 I paid in so they didn't have my deposit deets.

2019 I efiled with TurboTax on 4/11. Got my refund deposited on 4/18.

Got the status unavailable message until a couple days ago. Now says $ will be deposited 4/29.

Yea, I got this now

I had this message yesterday, and when I checked today I had a date for payment. Hopefully it’s the same for you guys tomorrow.

Read the checks are being sent out based on your adjusted gross income so higher earners may have a longer wait. Married couples near the phase out limit of $198k will be the last wave which is around Sept 4th.

No luck here. I even made sure it matches what is in my tax account on the IRS website.
