I hear you man, he's been a decent play. But don't delude yourself into believing that he put anything to bed with this game. He didn't do anything special. He was solid, but basically was just a guy.The TD has no bearing on anything. It's a short yardage TD. Quinton Ganther had a few of them, and I still think he sucks.Conveniently leaving out the TD helps your argument. But I'd like to also mention:Arian --- 13 for 34 2.6 ypcC.Brown --- 3 for 7 2.3 ypcI think the obvious conclusion from the Houston running game is that the OL is just not very good. However, Moats has been a pretty decent play when it's known that he's part of the mix.Really? 10 carries for 43 yards, and a fumble? Not exactly impressive.I'd say that Moats was effective enough to put this discussion to bed.
No offense man, but I think you are confusing the fantasy world with the real world of the NFL. I'm not saying either of these backs are bell cows that NFL teams should lean on to take them to the promise land. They are however pretty valuable FF cogs at this stage of the game. It's all about the bottomline stats. They produced, and that's all that matters at in the FF game and going forward for this year.
