Since Pat Buchanan intoned on illegal immigration and used the exact phrase while pointing at the Cali border?

It's still an unreal use of colloquial language, though.

When I call building maintenance and Jose answers he knows it is me when I say "Hey Jose, it's Hose B" even though my name is not really Hose B.

There needs to be an official thread for white guys to cry about things that they think make them victims.
Yeah. And while we are at it, make sure we have a thread for all the offended Joses who had their names used in such a profane and racist manner.

I was also recently informed that using the expression "low man on the totem pole" is offensive to some......

Racist or not, it can be funny when rubes are forced to think about the mindless parade of cliches and colloquialisms they throw around in effort to communicate.

Everything offends somebody these days. As an agnostic, your userID offends me. Forces me to think of Christianity. How dare you!!!
I'd love for something racially or culturally biased to be said to a prominent celebrity in public, and the celebrity to respond something to the effect of, "I'm not offended. That would just be an easy crutch for me to cling onto. Non-issue, let's move on" and completely dismiss. Said celebrity sits back and watches the carnage as everyone else in the media fights about it, with popcorn in hand.

Doesn't matter who, but I'd love for something like this to happen. We're too sensitive and soft as a society. I don't want people to be openly bigoted or anything, but there's no line anymore, everything and anything is twisted and interpreted as offensive and maximum penalty sought. We need to re-establish the "line." so to speak.

At the end of the day, we're all just trying to keep our heads up and get by. It is what it is. Let's take this offline.

I'm thinking I punch her right in the face if she says that to me. She's obviously a loser and part of the problem.
