Hispanic guilt? My dad's name is Juan. I dont think I ever saw him eat a Taco. So maybe one Juan ever said no to tacos.I sent my boys to school in these t shirts on Taco Tuesday....they were sent home.

Sent home? As in removed them from their learning environment for a full day over the shirts they were wearing? FFS. If they had an issue, it would be with you and not the child wearing the shirt, right? Or do they think your children are little racists?I sent my boys to school in these t shirts on Taco Tuesday....they were sent home.

feminist"sticks and stones"...world has turned into a bunch of vagines
We used to call it "renegage" growing up, we added our own twist...Renege doesn't have the slightest racial overtone. However, I've definitely encountered a few racist douches who say renig just assuming that it does have some kind of racist implication. A lot of idiocy on both sides, but that doesn't mean that there have not been plenty of genuinely unnecessary mean-spirited occasions of people saying renig. That's one that's best to just walk around. See also: not worth the hassle/choose your battles/etc.
I think the correct phrase would be 'Indian giver'Are you some kind of reneger?I used renege in a meeting a couple of weeks ago and was told its a racist word.

It could be quite #####rdly to renege on a financial commitment. No, I am not. I actually mentioned that we couldnt renege on our commitments, while in a meeting. I was told that it was a racist and offensive word. Used the word for years and have never heard of such foolishness. Are you some kind of reneger?I used renege in a meeting a couple of weeks ago and was told its a racist word.
I think it is welsher.I think the correct phrase would be 'Indian giver'Are you some kind of reneger?I used renege in a meeting a couple of weeks ago and was told its a racist word.
Yep, and if you've seen Juan, you've seen Jamal (doubly racist, of course). If it's not Juan thing, it's another.
Yes, as long as Jose Feliciano isn't the one singing it.Can we still say "Jose can you see" at the beginning of the Star Spangled Banner?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_classification)The term "Hispanic" as an ethnonym emerged in the 20th century with the rise of migration of laborers from American Spanish-speaking countries to the United States. Today, the word "Latino" is often used as a synonym for "Hispanic". The definitions of both terms are non-race specific, and include people who consider themselves to be of distinct races (Black, White, Amerindian, Asian, and mixed groups).[136] However, there is a common misconception in the US that Hispanic/Latino is a race[137] or sometimes even that national origins such as Mexican, Cuban, Colombian, Salvadoran, etc. are races. In contrast to "Latino" or "Hispanic", "Anglo" refers to non-Hispanic White Americans or non-Hispanic European Americans, most of whom speak the English language but are not necessarily of English descent.
Because of his race or blindness?Yes, as long as Jose Feliciano isn't the one singing it.Can we still say "Jose can you see" at the beginning of the Star Spangled Banner?

racist! There needs to be an official thread for white guys to cry about things that they think make them victims.
No. We prefer black beans and rice.My dad's name is Juan. I dont think I ever saw him eat a Taco. So maybe one Juan ever said no to tacos.Hispanic guilt?![]()
All true but it sounds soooooo similar to the N word that it should be avoided in conversation (to avoid misunderstanding) and has pretty much fallen into disuse probably for that reason. Perhaps not surprisingly, I still do see it occasionally on conservative message boards when talking about Obama (by posters who always deny any racist intent with their use of the word).Nothing to do with the N word. Not even spelled the same. Predates it even.Think harder.Wow, really? Just because it sounds similar but means miserly? Tim wouldnt say anything remotely offensive. Matter of fact i would be suprised if he actually spoke to anyone in his every day life. I picture him just walking around with this head low out of "shame and guilt"....This smells like a Timschochet thread. Haven't read any of it yet though... I'm just making an assumption here.

Woah! It worked.America
Arian FosterWoah! It worked.America
Also, if you are fan of Arian Foster, and you say that you are part of the (his name) Nation. It will change to Arian Foster.
No way, Pierre. While I agree people are sometimes too sensitive, I don't have a problem with it. I don't use the term "No way Jose", because I am no longer 12, but if I did and someone said they were offended by it, I would respect that and come up with something else to say... maybe "no way"
Even if you spell it correctly? Because it's spelled Aryan Nation.Woah! It worked.America
Also, if you are fan of Arian Foster, and you say that you are part of the (his name) Nation. It will change to Arian Foster.
