ESPNs Chris Mortensen reporting San Francisco HC Mike Nolan fired, replaced by Assistant HC - Defense Mike Singletary. Don't know if this will have any IDP impact, just glad to see Singletary get the opportunity. Wonder how this sits with Martz?

I'm sure Martz isn't happy. I wouldn't be suprised to see some friction between the two down the line either.

I think he pretty much went in knowing that Singletary would be the HC if Nolan is out. As for IDP impact, the niners will probably blitz more because they obviously can't blitz less. That could either be good news for all you willis owners or bad news.
