(Not WDIS) I'm benching Lary Johnson against Baltimore for....... (1 Viewer)

Personally, I'm considering sitting him in favor of Ladell Betts. Philly rundefense hasn't stopped anyone all year. Plus, he's coming off a pretty big game last week.

Anyone else benching LJ or considering it?

I don't think this deserves a thread - it is as foreign a concept as the thread before the Denver game about benching LT. Unless you have to choose between LT and LJ.

Also, this information could be discussed in the Fason v. LJ thread.

That said, Baltimore has an insane rush D and a really good pass D.

It might take 40 touches, but LJ will get 100/1.

I gave a little bit of thought to benching him for Bell, but not against San Diego. If Tatum had an easy matchup I might do it.

Regardless, LT, Travis Henry and Tatum Bell all rushed for over 90 yards against the Ravens, and Rudi went 77/1. I think LJ will be ok.

I'm all for playing the machups, but benching LJ is ridiculous. Anyone that does that deserves a 5 TD day for LJ.

Post thread title made me think about a song, you might know it. Here it goes...

Dum dum dum dum

Dum de doody dum

Dum dum dum dum

Dum de doody dum

Wahhh wah wah wah waaaaaa

You can fall too in love with matchups. I have LJ, Thomas Jones (against the lambs) and MJD (against the Colts). I'm fairly confident that the latter 2 will have very good games, possibly even better than LJ. But, I'm not entirely confident Larry won't go for 150 and 3 either. So Larry is in, and I'm deciding between the other two.
