Last year, he was talked up as being the second coming of Christ and then the Patriots trade him for a ham sandwich even though they were needy at tight end.  This summer he gets talked up as having the best preseason of any one on the Seahawks and then gets cut.  What's up with this?  I wonder if the Patriots will sign him?

Like I said didn't see Thursdays game but from what I was seeing an or reading Stick impressed them more then Jones. I've never been high on Jones to begin with though. Your typical scrambling QB won't develop into anything more then what he was strong arm, not great accuracy and mobile. Guys like him usually end up as career back ups or leaving the league in a few yrs

Maybe they will sign him back after Week 1 so his contract isn’t guaranteed for the season. He can’t play week 1 anyway.
