I like the crazy bread at Little Ceasars. That stuff is nuts!I like the dipping sauces Papa Johns gives you.

Little Caesar's is actually a pretty good discussion point in determining this once and for all. Based on my understanding, the thin pizzas are New York style while the pan pizzas are more Chicago Style. The New York pizzas cost $5 but the Chicago pizzas are $8. That seems to indicate the Chicago ones are better, since they can charge more for them. They're also usually out of stock on the Chicago ones and I have to wait for one but the New York ones are always ready which seems to indicate they sell more Chicago ones as well.I like the crazy bread at Little Ceasars. I think anyone that is using Little Caesar's as the barometer here should be excluded from participation in this discussion to begin with.Little Caesar's is actually a pretty good discussion point in determining this once and for all. I'm doubting they make the same number of each each day. They could be out of stock of Chicago because no one evers order them, so they do not make them. Not because they sell more.Little Caesar's is actually a pretty good discussion point in determining this once and for all. They advertise hot and ready so they have to be selling faster than they can make them.I'm doubting they make the same number of each each day. I'm not a fan of man boobs. Can we agree that we all like boobs?
Those pan pizzas are not Chicago style, probably closer to Detroit style.Little Caesar's is actually a pretty good discussion point in determining this once and for all. car key nipples are the best, wtf.Chaka said:I'm not a fan of man boobs.Or knee slappers. Can we agree that we all like boobs?
Or wrinkly old ones.
Not really a big fan of pancake areola or freaky long nipples that you can hang your car keys off of either (but perhaps those are separate categories).

Yeah, probably. But my experience with Chicago Pizza indicates there isn't one true style. For instance here in Lake County the double decker pizza is a relatively popular phenomenon that I haven't seen other places. (I've eaten them in more than one restaurant here - Bill's Pub, RJ's Eatery, and Rosati's - but never anywhere else). So I kind of consider that a Chicago style. Nancy's has their stuffed pizza, which as other people have indicated is distinct from what people consider "Chicago Style", but I consider that to really be in the same family. I don't really think New York "style" is an actual style native to their area either. That's just a hand tossed pizza, everybody does that.shuke said:Those pan pizzas are not Chicago style, probably closer to Detroit style.Little Caesar's is actually a pretty good discussion point in determining this once and for all. Personally I'd say that no matter what style, Lake County IL is where I want to be for pizza. Last night Giordano's was on the menu, Lou's and Geno's right by as well. I can do a double decker if the mood strikes me, and outside of the magical water you can get a hand tossed pizza anywhere. Every option at my disposal whereas I guess "Chicago Style" is hard to replicate outside of this region. A true pizza Mecca.
There is a pizza place in the aiport that actually smells bad. I mean, how do you make pizza smell unappetizing?I ####ing love it all.
Marrion's (Dayton Style?) is my all time favorite.
I've probably only had one pizza in my life that I didn't like. We were on spring break in Daytona Beach in '91 and found a photocopied menu for some place that delivered at 4 AM. There were maybe a dozen pieces of shredded cheese on it. Probably some dude making chef boyardee at his house.

I think it might be a Sbarro.
Mainly by serving styles that few people would want to eat. This is another downside to what from this thread seems to be "NY Style" distribution. They have to make things like spinach pizza for the few freaks that order stuff like these. And other random topping blends that make no sense to me. Rosati's by me has fallen into the same trap. They do slices at lunch so you go in asking for a normal slice of Pepperoni. Sorry, we're all out, you can wait 10 minutes or we've got a pile of this perfectly disgusting bacon, onion, pineapple travesty that some idiot thought was a good idea but no one has bought. There is a pizza place in the aiport that actually smells bad. Very similar to what we get in Minnesota, and it really is the best.
