Really nice read. I liked the emphasis on the mental toughness of a player vs his more Combine measurable skills. Couple questions...Fourteen hours a day watching film? How does someone get that kind of resources? Are you watching game reruns? Or are you getting stuff that coaches get? What did you do before DVDs & BRDs, watch VCR tapes?
Pretty remarkable all in all. Good thing FBG is paying you that six figure income so you can retire in a year or so.

Thanks - I simply record every game available to me (DVR). I watch plays in a very systematic fashion and I spend a fair amount of time rewinding plays and studying what the offense and defense is doing before I write or grade the player on that play. I can spend 8 hours evaluating a single quarterback. I don't watch 14 hours per day except when I have time off from my day job and that's for 1- or 2-week periods and 3-4 day weekends that I'll take by taking holidays from the day job. That's pretty grueling. I do tend to watch from 5am-9am and 7pm-11pm - M-F during the week and then 12-hour days on weekends from Dec through March. Hope that six-figure income/retirement thing was an attempt at a joke - I definitely laughed
