Oakland at Washington (1 Viewer)

Cooper will never , ever be drafted ahead of Crabtree again. He is just horrible.
I am in shock with his stat line tonight. I loved my draft, getting Beckham in the 2nd, Cooper in the 3rd. It's like my league mates knew something I didn't.

The dude has Zero heart. I saw all I needed to on the first pass of the game where he waited for it to fall into his hands while the DB went up and got it.

You really telling me Matt Jones was worse than Perine? Outside of Thompson I think this is the worst backfield in football.

Yeah, he was soft as hell and had the fumbles. And when we drafted Perine, Matt Jones pretty much tried to quit on the team, refusing to come to OTA's and then demanding a trade. He was a pansy who didn't want to compete for his job after Kelley took it last year.

This after the team told him he was persona non grata?

Watched the last 1.5 quarters at dinner after my festival today - my goodness. What happened to the Silver & Black attack?

Washington completely owned from what I can see - at one point into the 4th they were 0/9 on 3rd down conversions? Ouch.

Coaching-wise, one play that stood out as super questionable was the 3rd and 17 in a game with 6+ mins, down 17. Tried the deep bomb, presumably hoping for a DPI & sad trombone. At that point they know they're going 4 downs, why not try for 7-10 & hope for a little extra to get to 4th and 7-10? Instead it's 4th and 17, none chance play.

Defensively it sounds like it shoulda been 50-10. Raiders D couldn't make a stop. I heard the 3rd and 19 screen and just smh. They were somehow still in that game & that play was the dagger.

Bad day for da Raidahs. :(

Maurile/Mods - can we unpin this? I am trying to move on from the grief and anger this game caused me, and seeing it front and center every time I visit the Pool is causing me undue stress.

TIA,

STC

That's pass interference!!!!!!! Jeez, this game.
Prorating across today, Washington is leading 162 to 60. Carr is 114 completions out of 186 attempts for 708 yards, racking up more INTs (12) than TDs (6) through the air compared to Cousins 150 of 180 for 2190 passing yards and 18 TDs and no INTs.

Oakland's running game is still struggling, with 192 yards vs the Skins at 696, though neither team has scored yet.

Cook is still Oakland's star receiver after 6 days of continuous play, racking up 256 yards off of 24 catches and 6 TDs, but his counterpart Clice Walford is going the other way with -6 yards on 6 catches. Cooper is anemic with 6 catches for 36 yards and 2,348 drops.

Chris Thompson continues to tear the Raiders apart for 1,128 all purpose yards (228 rush, 900 pass) and 6 TDs, a full quarter of the Skins total point scoring output.

I could go on, but it would be ridiculous.

But not as ridiculous as seeing this game still pinned in Week 4.

Thompson should have 7 TDs. That holding call in the 27th quarter was bs. I don't care if the refs have gone 5 days without sleep, that was just atrocious.

I think it's just this crew. While they'be been known to be loose with the yellow laundry, the 29 holding flags in the first 42 hours of the game were unprecedented. But the Raiders really can't blame the refs as opposed to their own inefficiency, currently 0-66 in 3rd down conversions into the 6th day of play.

Our only bright spots so far is that Cowser has recovered 12 fumbles, Mack is still holding up through the week with 54 total tackles and 6 sacks. And look at Marquette King with 2,214 punting yards, 24 of the 42 punts so far inside the 20.
