This team at the moment is by far the worst team i have seen in the past 5 years....not only do they have no offense, but there defense is no good either. Lamont Jordan is a good player, however walter payton in his prime couldn't run with that line. also moss is good but very inconsistent, but do u excpect him to do anything with walter as a Qb.

 
The Raiders have become insignificant to me even as a rival fan, but the reason I still take so much pleasure in their pathetic season is because of all the garbage I had to hear all offseason how Oakland has this young, speedy and potentially great defense, and how Aaron Brooks is just the right kind of QB to open up the offense and release these "great" receivers, etc.

I thought they'd be alright, but I disagreed with just about all the hype. That seems justified now.

 
I think the defense has actually been mediocre or even decent. Considering that the offense can't keep the other team's defense on the field for more than 2 minutes at a time, and they turn it over approximately 42 times per game, the defense hasn't been that bad.

 
Yea,...they suck,..good thing that LaMont isn't my No.1 RB right now or i'd be hurting.

Before our season started i had Randy Moss, and ended up trading him with DeShaun Foster for Steve Smith, boy am i glad that i did that.

I have faith that LaMont will return to form and be a 'good' RB,....when i don't know,...but someday :ph34r:

Hey your team isn't exactly shaking up the NFL either. Give Raiders fans a break.... ;)
 
I had a thread like this(but better) last year. It went over 400 replies and then someone said something dumb and got it deleted. :cry:

 
The raider organization has been making bad moves for years now and they just keep getting worse NOT better...that all starts at the top with Al Davis...he has driven this once proud team into the ground...he created the raiders and now he is destroying his own work of art...very sad spectacle to watch , not to mention VERY embarrassing as a fan. I am heart broken over this as i have been as loyal a fan one can be...but i can no longer bury my head in the sand and pretend all is well and all WILL BE well. This RAH-RAH cheerleading that some people do here is only enabling the front office to operate at such a low standard...we ,the fans allow this team to exist ,as all teams exist by there paying customers.

The Raiders are selling a horrible product to there die hard ,bleeding silver and black fans. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH :rant:

I am very close to not renewing my season tickets of 11 years in the BlackHole next year. For me to utter those words is unthinkable until today. I can handle losing seasons, not that I like too. I can handle SOME bad coaching and management of the team. I can't handle what is going on with this organization right now. I told my wife before we got married to never, ever ask me to give up my tickets or don't marry me, as Raiders football is a part of who I am. Looks like she may not have too ask. I have a feeling there is much worse too come and it makes me sick. Thank god I have a new born son to keep my spirits and focus away from this cluster #### of a franchise.

I just think that the organization has made "iffy" choices on where they need the most help, and where to pay money. The O-line needs help quick, and have either Curry step it up, or Porter on the field (4 game suspension, ya right). Jordan can run, and catch with the best. Moss can route run like only few can, and his ablility to make the catch is unreal. All that i'm saying is take your assests, and build around them, stack up the lines, and add depth to WR core (Gabriel to NE, ya right :crazy: ). If they can make it happen, things will improve, they continue to ignore the situation or wait to fix it, then i'll just have to wait on my Raiders. :bag:

This thread is like driving by a car crash. I just had to slow down and have a look even though I knew what I'd see here.

This year's version of the silver and black could arguably be one of those teams you talk about being among the worst-ever. I don't follow the Raiders too closely so I don't know how a once proud franchise was allowed to deteriorate into a friggin' joke. I do know that offensive line is brutal. If you can't run or pass block, you may as well mail in the points.

Last year's 49ers were worse, and this year's Titans are just as bad.

A "chaotic" Raiders practice session Friday was sloppy, longer-than-usual, and left many players grumbling, sources said. WR Jerry Porter openly complained. Sources said, Porter -- who was running with the scout team defense -- asked somewhat loudly if the practice "was going to last three hours or what?" One Raiders player said it was "the worst practice we've had all season", the usual 90-minute Friday session extended well past 21/2 hours. Much of the roster was frustrated and angry by the lack of organization. "People wonder why we're 0-4, that's why," one player said of the workout. "It was a joke out there."

 
As a life-long Bronco fan, even I feel sorry for raider fans. Well...some of them.

It really is embarrasing.
