I know this won't be popular, but it seems to me you could kill a lot of birds with one stone - tax the #### out of gas.

The alternative is to effectively continue to subsidize real estate developers and home-builders who only know one trick - move further from the center.

If this were true it would be Nurembergian.

It's only helping minorities live in better areas and creating more diversity in neighborhoods - basically what Fair Housing was originally meant to do.
