That's fair. I've watched all but 2 or 3 this year from the Wild and have that strong feeling too. They look terrific in a whole slew of lines. But when the real season begins, its a full reset in hockey. The Wild haven't proven anything yet in the postseason and will have the extra pressure to do so this year.
The obvious answer is the Parise goal should not have been allowed. Additionally, there was obvious interference on Staal for the tying goal. Not sure what you mean about how offsides works.
Homer glasses there Brasky. That was offsides on the 2nd goal and on the 3rd Staal (think it was him) interfered with Hammer, knocking him out of the play at the blue line when the puck was on the other side of the ice.
why would which specific shot that went in matter? they had the better of the play. they play that game 7 times they probably win 6. what do you know, that actually happened in the last 7.
don't act like it didn't matter. That game played 100 times without those calls would be vastly different. Momentum plays a huge part of the game flow, that goal gets called back and the game changes. And you can't say with certainty that either team would win the majority of them.
If Crawford plays that way, the Hawks probably win 6 of 7. Sure, MN had better opportunities, but you also need to consider the Hawks goalie as well. Bottom line to me, 2 of our 3 goals shouldn't have counted. To me, that makes it fair to say we were lucky to get the point we did.
