***OFFICIAL 2009 NFL DRAFT*** (2 Viewers)

:lmao: 73rd best safety on the board"he's probably out playing basketball right now and he gets a phone call"
Holy crap..this is funny
Can you imagine what this kid is thinking right now?"Yeah, ok, that's not funny guys. There's no way Al Davis is on the phone tonight. That's not even cool. Berman just said what? No, come on, there's no way they just took me in the second round. Stop messing around."

"I never heard of this guy until 3 weeks ago."Gruden trying not to laugh his ### off.
Nfl.com Tracker has no info on him... Was he in jail?
Wow....This is so BAD. He did not even get invited to the combine, but is worthy of a 2nd rounder from the Raiders...
Confirmed - NFL.com has no information on him. :sarcasm:
I guess Al Davis must have read this article yesterday.

odd no other TEs have been drafted yet...good thing the lions stepped upi and grabbed one before other teams caught on! :sarcasm:
if you think Pettigrew would have made it more than 5 picks longer than #20, you are doing it all very wrong.
just saying that there were more important things, imo... and that there are a few TEs this year.... agree Pettigrew is more than a solid TE, but I see that as more a finishing touch, maybe NE, or GB, than DET...more pressing.. but the earlier argument about OL, and Reciever, help in one, holds water..
I just think it's very obvious that Mayhew and Schwartz know that they aren't going to fix this thing in one year and are therefore taking BPA no matter the position, because they can upgrade everywhere. Which means they are taking a very reasoned approach to all of this and not hamstringing themselves by locking into a position rather than a player - unlike their predecessor who was obsessed with getting "weapons." They are instead getting players...and two or three drafts like this and they are an entirely different franchise. :lmao:
Tight Ends were key in TEN where Schwarz is from
that's what I thought may be their thought.. many a good TE outta TEN over the last few

Are we sure that Lane Kiffin isn't secretly intercepting this picks as they come in and substituting these "prank" picks?

I bet tomorrow they'll be in the 4th round and Al Davis will send up his pick while screaming "I can't believe nobody took Aaron Curry yet!!!"

By the 7th round, he'll be drafting kids that are playing nerf football out in front of his house.

Gotta take Baker here I would think.

Knowing Brandon, he traded the rest of this year's draft and next year's first for Dallas's pick.

Alright, taking the top guard in the draft here isn't too bad. I can live with that assuming they didn't give up too much to move up.

Anyone know what the Bears got for their 2nd rounder? I've been waiting for this pick and they trade it away? I stepped away to put my kids to bed and missed the trade. Not one day one pick? I couldnt find the info on NFLs site. It better be good. For a second + something, they could have had Boldin. I'm surprised noone was able to pry Boldin away from ARI.

Bills on the clock :lmao:Don't blow it
Levitre. They must feel pretty good about Walker, Chambers, Bell at OT. Now, they've made some big upgrades to the interior of the line with Wood and Levitre.
Yeah. I was hearing that Wood could play OG, but I think this pick settles that debate. They must not think too highly of Seth McKinney because it seems like Butler's spot in the lineup is solidified.

Able to, I think - just not willing top pay the first round price. Though I have no clue WHY. AZ may have also figured that after the draft, they'd more easily be able to negotiate with Boldin
