F5 down? With the volume in these threads, I really had trouble keeping up since it doesn't auto-refresh.
Anyone interested in jumping in a Chatterous room to discuss the draft? I set one up here... http://chatterous.com/nfldraft/
Sure, but with so many concurrent discussions going on it's often easy to miss one entirely while you're replying... so I figured I'd like to see if anyone wants to jump into real-time chat. If not, no problem, but thought it might be fun.F5 down? With the volume in these threads, I really had trouble keeping up since it doesn't auto-refresh.

The Lions had no 4th/5th's, so this doesn't surprise me.trade already
Jets are giving up their #3, #6, and #7 in this draft.-QGThe Lions had no 4th/5th's, so this doesn't surprise me.trade already

Looking through these threads, I don't think I have agreed with you once. Not a fan of Greene. Puzzling pick.
Raiders will break this string, though they'll keep in state by picking up the hot prospect from Northwest Iowa Community College.-QGIowa Hawkeye run!!!!!!
Someone is going to get a steal when Antoine Caldwell comes off the board.
Greene was a solid pick too.A day later...I am not happy the Lions passed on Oher, but I will add Pettigrew and Delmas are both solid picks. I just think Oher would have been a better pick considering their porous offensive line. But in terms of the talent, they had a very good day 1.
I think we would have been better served by taking Oher, since we probably have the worst line in the NFL. Time will tell if Pettigrew turns out to be a nice pick or if we indeed should have taken Oher. I guess the bright spot in taking Pettigrew is that he's a TE, who will block at least part of the time, and he supposedly is a good blocking TE.My initial reaction to drafting Delmas was "WTF?" But I think I've calmed down since... most everyone seems to think he was the top safety in the draft, and it's one of the many positions we needed to fill, so I can live with that...There are still 150 more picks to go, I am sure we can find something we agree on!Looking through these threads, I don't think I have agreed with you once. Not a fan of Greene. I just see Greene as a 3 yards and a cloud of dust runner. He does not have that burst when he is making his cuts, its like he has to slow down significantly when he makes them. That works in college, not so much in the pros.Someone is going to get a steal when Antoine Caldwell comes off the board.Greene was a solid pick too.
He ain't no spring chicken neither so here's hoping he didn't spend it all on blingYikes...Thomas Jones' weekend just became THE SUCK
i dont know how to take this...this dude is a 5tech, just like jackson...so are they really expecting dorsey to man the middle? thats ######ed if soKC being smart, rebuilding through the trenches.
The Lions getting a mid 4th and a 7th for an 11 spot drop in round 3 is a solid move. They really have a good chance to add some pieces. I also expect them to move back again (at least once) in the next 2 rounds.
Great trade by Detroit. They need to build a ton of depth, and that wasn't to drastic of a price to pay to accumulate picks.I would have to think, Magee cannot play the nose. Has there been any talk out of KC regarding that?i dont know how to take this...this dude is a 5tech, just like jackson...so are they really expecting dorsey to man the middle? thats ######ed if soKC being smart, rebuilding through the trenches.
Won't be much of a pass rusher, but he could pay end in the NFL on 1st and 2nd and slide inside on pass plays. Nice pick.Jarron Gilbert is a solid pick for the Bears.
I got on the Lions for their non-pick of Oher, but upon reconsideration I really like what the Lions are doing. This is smart, patient drafting by a team that has a LOT of needs and knows that they can't expect to fill them all in a single draft.A day later...I am not happy the Lions passed on Oher, but I will add Pettigrew and Delmas are both solid picks. They are a rebuilding team with huge needs, and their approach to this draft has been just right. It looks like you've got a competent GM at a minimum with Mayhew. Congrats. The Lions getting a mid 4th and a 7th for an 11 spot drop in round 3 is a solid move. They really have a good chance to add some pieces. he has been playing it in voluntary workouts, but there is no way dorsey is big enough to play that spot.you are basically telling your 5th overall pick he isnt welcome in the system... very strangeI would have to think, Magee cannot play the nose. I am thinking he might play exclusively at tackle.Won't be much of a pass rusher, but he could pay end in the NFL on 1st and 2nd and slide inside on pass plays. Nice pick.Jarron Gilbert is a solid pick for the Bears.
There's a reason why the Bears consistently have good D-line play. It's because they draft D-linemen. The Redskins need to take note of this concept, complex though it is to understand.I am thinking he might play exclusively at tackle.Won't be much of a pass rusher, but he could pay end in the NFL on 1st and 2nd and slide inside on pass plays. He also seems better suited to play the WOLB role in the 3-4, but that's where Ware plays so . . .Geez, these guys talking up Jason Williams, that guy is Mike Mitchell if he was a LB, nowhere before his pro day.

Hard to argue that Johnson isn't BPA...Caldwell..Caldwell..Caldwell-QG
I like the pick. Bengals are quietly having a good draft IMHO.Hard to argue that Johnson isn't BPA...Caldwell..Caldwell..Caldwell-QG
