I still think the Yanks have a great rotation and the Rays staff may dropoff a little but Id still take their staff over the Jays too.

Sabathia is obviously awesome too.Josh Johnson is "not the same pitcher and is always hurt" but despite that was almost exactly on par with Kuroda last year in terms of FIP and WAR. Johnson has shown a much higher peak and is not 38 years old like Kuroda. If he's his not his same self, he's still as good as Kuroda, if he finds himself, he blows him away.Petitte has thrown 200 innings since 2010. Again, his 2012 was almost exactly in line with Brandon Morrow's but Morrow has huge upside on last season, while Petitte is 40 years old. I don't think anyone would seriously argue Pettite over Morrow in this decade, the 90s. sure.Ricky Romero was awful last year but his 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons are all much better than any season in Phil Hughes career.Buehrle has gone 13 straight seasons of 200 IP and will have an ERA around 4 like he always does.The Rays will likely have the best rotation in the division again but I think the Jays are a clear #2.

According to your breakdown both staffs sound nearly identical. So why is it so shocking that i chose mine over yours? You make it sound like theres a huge gap when theres clearly not. Its debatable either way and ill take my staff over yours rays staff is awesome but losing shields will sting. Moore needs to take the next step which hes fully capable of.

All while pitching around 250 innings a year over and over while "somehow" being one of the few pitchers in existence to avoid injury? PEDs for sure. And don't even get me started on Austin Jackson slugging 60 points higher in 2012 than he ever did in a full season at any level. Another obvious cheat.

Didn't even make a roster last year. Takes walks and has power. For an AL team I wonder what all the dislike is about.

His 2012 AAA numbers with NYY look vintage Cust-esque. His power was starting to dwindle with the A's and then fell off a cliff in 2011 with Seattle, maybe he's gotten it turned around.

Casey Kotchman sliced his left ring finger on a pop fly machine Monday afternoon in Marlins camp.Kotchman needed four stitches but should be back in action within the next couple of days. Casey Kotchman on Monday morning sliced his left ring finger on the machine that flung pop flies to infielders. The veteran first baseman, in camp on a Minor League contract, sprinted from first base to home plate when colliding with the machine.

Kotchman received four stitches, and the team is hopeful that he will only miss a few days.

I read that as pop machine, and figured the outsourced workers that do those screwed up and put fly in there.
