Yeah man that was the ugliest slide since Fielder tried getting back to 3rd in the ALCS, but it looks like he got around the tag.

Ross may be the third slowest guy on the field behind Craig and Molina... and I don't think he was out.
Anyways... not gonna ##### about it. Prob the right call by the up there at full speed.

That play it almost like the 2nd baseman touching the bag on a double play. Catcher was sitting there waiting for him, hes out regardless

I've watched it about 6 times now, and I think Molina missed him, he missed the plate, and then Molina got him on the torso before he touched.
Next year would they be able to review it? Not #####ing about it since that's the only call the ump can make, but curious.

Lester not looking like he's lost much. Short leash in 8th and 9th IMO but facing the tail of the order they may see if he can go the distance. Uehara has thrown a lot of IP ... don't want the cards getting too many looks at him.

When we were kids you would get free seats for straight A's in school and they would be seats in the upper deck at Busch II - we would all choose the same games and being smart ### kids we would try all game to land a paper airplane from the upper deck to the field turning it into contest. I had a buddy who could make it happen around 15% of the time - which was pretty good for being so far away.
