Cooks looks head and shoulders quicker than anyone else doing the gauntlet drill.
Thank you for the entire post, but this part was the best. I wish Billick would go away forever. No wonder Billick is on the sidelines. He's an idiot.
Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. Why even talk about them until we know what the official times are? You can almost always add .1 to those unofficial NFL Network times.
check out his tape, excellent high pointer, huge for a little guy.Cooks looks head and shoulders quicker than anyone else doing the gauntlet drill.
Just went over Evans' 1st run, ran a lot better:Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. Why even talk about them until we know what the official times are? You can almost always add .1 to those unofficial NFL Network times.
I just measured Evans' second run, here are my splits:
10: 1.67
20: 2.70
40: 4.60
Posted this in another thread a while back.Interesting. I figured him to go back as he was overshadowed by Watkins all year. He could be the guy next year. I guess he's a Jr so leaving makes sense. Look for him to blow up the combine. Rumor at Clemson is he runs a sub 4.3 forty. He's 6,5" and can jump as well.Reports are that he will declare after the game.Martavis Bryant should be on the radar. Looks like a future stud to me.
The guy can catch but will absolutely need an accurate QB. He would not be much with Gomer Manning.Big Cooks fan, I don't have him very far below Beckham.
Mayock was probably thinking the same thing along with 'how the hell were you a head coach if you thing the gauntlet is worthless.' I want to punch Billick in the face.Thank you for the entire post, but this part was the best. I wish Billick would go away forever. No wonder Billick is on the sidelines. He's an idiot.
Shortly after the other group of WRs finish. When do the "official" numbers get published/updated? End of today or a few days from now?
NFL Draft Scout updates the 40-times within a few days most years. One year they waited almost a full year though, so who knows. When do the "official" numbers get published/updated? End of today or a few days from now?

The shorter the arms, the easier it is to bench press.Dri Archer with 20 reps is shocking. Not that it means much.
The combine is reinforcing what I saw from watching them play. Not even close as prospects IMO.Benjamin looks stiff and awkward as hell. Advertises his breaks and just generally runs sloppy. Gets off the line slow.
Evans looking like twice the natural athlete and receiver today.
Yeah, and to me that's what the combine should be for. To reinforce the tape or give you a reason to go back to the tape. The combine is reinforcing what I saw from watching them play. Basically reveals who's been hitting the weights.Dri Archer with 20 reps is shocking. Not that it means much.
Yeah, I'd be shocked if his official is near that time. Looked like 4.45 guy running it.Jeff Janis with a 4.30 unofficial on first try at 6-3 220? Didn't seem that fast to me when watching it.
If it's official it will hurt him. People seem to forget that none of these times a re official. It will look much different when all is said and done.Mayock says that time is going to kill Landry. He seems fast enough on the field to me![]()

Yea....I'm thinking his time looked more like 4.45 as well, still a really good time at his size though.Yeah, I'd be shocked if his official is near that time. Looked like 4.45 guy running it.Jeff Janis with a 4.30 unofficial on first try at 6-3 220? Didn't seem that fast to me when watching it.
Don Beebe ran 4.21Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Fastest white WR ever?
I don't see Cooks as a better prospect than Wheaton. Both are probably going to be slot receivers in the NFL. Love them as football players, not so much for fantasy.Big Cooks fan, I don't have him very far below Beckham.
I like Cooks a LOT more than I liked Wheaton. Bet he goes in the 2nd.I don't see Cooks as a better prospect than Wheaton. Both are probably going to be slot receivers in the NFL. Love them as football players, not so much for fantasy.Big Cooks fan, I don't have him very far below Beckham.
How are you measuring them?Exactly.I don't see any reason to get excited about the unofficial times. Why even talk about them until we know what the official times are? You can almost always add .1 to those unofficial NFL Network times.

Swope ran a 4.3 official.Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Fastest white WR ever?
10'6" broad jump. I thought he would be more explosive, too. Can't wait for the 40!Only 34" vert for Watkins, surprising.
My wife's nephew plays for Saginaw Valley State so I have went to quite a few of their games the last few years. Janis has phenomenal hands to go with the speed.Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Fastest white WR ever?
Pre-electronic timing.Don Beebe ran 4.21Jeff Janis. 4.30 you gatta be kidding me. Fastest white WR ever?
