Wow, awesome moves all around when you throw the Cooper deal in. They're gonna hit defense HARD in the draft.Love the Peters and Kelce extensions! It all starts up front!

I keep going to back to what Laurie said after letting Reid go - that they evaluated the front office and kept the ones who had the better evaluation record and moved on from those who didn't. Nothing's been proven yet, but I like this new front office. When you listen to Howie and Chip throughout the last year one thing sticks out to me. They don't BS you. Its such a change from the Reid/ Banner days
It is very possible.I wouldn't mind another big receiver in the draft.
Height/weight/hand size/arm length/ last position played?Dear Jeffrey, Howie, and Chip,
I want to make you all aware of my combine numbers. Would love to sit and meet with you.
40 - 5.3 (hand timed)
Bench - 17
Broad - 8'7"
Vertical - 31"
3 cone - 9.2
Wonderlic - 35
I'd also like to point out that I am a season ticket holder, section 209, row 19, seat 8. I could be ready at the drop of a hat. Great motor, intangibles.
Thank you for your consideration,
MM
I would point out that in the link that Bigboy (or someone) posted earlier in the thread listing the 4 key traits that Howie said he looks for in a receiver, size was not among them.I wouldn't mind another big receiver in the draft.
@fduffy3: RT @EaglesInsider: What are the 4 traits the #Eagles look for in a WR & how do these prospects fare in those aspects? http://t.co/ntQXu39uWn
All teams 100% healthy we'd win 5 out of 6 and 3 of the 5 we win handly IMO.Who can compete with us in the division?
I agree and it doubles if he starts squeaking. If they get Maclin on board and draft a WR that shows promise he may not be here next year IMO.I still don't think Desean is out in the clear. Cooper's contract could still mean we don't pay him 12M+ the next few seasons.
Something tells me we won't be seeing any more games being played like the Dawkins debacle. Joe Banner that ####### weasel. #### fat Andy Reid too.@ZBerm: The Chip-Howie dynamic is interesting. Howie said they need to be "tied at the hip." Cooper was a guy that Chip really valued.
Are you older than 25 AND are you a firefighter? If you answered "yes" to both questions, Kansas City is definitely interested.Dear Jeffrey, Howie, and Chip,

He and the Eagles have to agree on a contract first. He wants a one-year, "show me" contract so that he can prove he's back from the second torn anterior cruciate ligament of his career and get a sizable long-term deal.
The Eagles would prefer a two- or three-year contract at considerably less to avoid having him reach the open market a year from now. They have 11 days to work something out before Maclin hits free agency.
If that's the only issue you would think this gets done before FA starts. Honestly I dont know why the Eagles would want any more then a 1-year deal at this point. If he breaks out and becomes what many thought he would be when we took him in the first then you could always tag him.Interesting to hear that Maclin prefers a one year deal while the Eagles are trying to go longer. That is apparently the holdup in the Maclin signing.

Harsh, Andy Reid did what for your franchise again? I would love those four straight NFC Championship games and a trip to the Super Bowl. A little respect for that is deserved. I hope that type of comment with the "who can compete with us" post above does not sum up all Eagles fans.Something tells me we won't be seeing any more games being played like the Dawkins debacle. They could lock him up for substantially less then what he would get if they gave him a one year deal and he went bonkers. I'm guessing that's the thinking behind it. But I think that would be a very small hurdle to get across for resigning him.If that's the only issue you would think this gets done before FA starts. Yeah, but there are an awful lot of NFL players out there - WRs in particular - who'd be happy to coast into the longer-term deal and more guaranteed money, especially coming off a second ACL tear.Makes total sense. Players bet on themselves all the time.Interesting to hear that Maclin prefers a one year deal while the Eagles are trying to go longer. That is apparently the holdup in the Maclin signing.

He can be franchised again, but the Bills have to pay him 120% of his salary last year which would be 8.3M. To sign the guy to a long-term deal will probably cost 9-11M a year so I think the likelihood of him getting tagged is pretty good especially when you consider that Buffalo has a ton of cap space.I keep reading that Byrd will be franchised...wouldnt this be the second year in a row? I thought that wasnt allowd anymore, or is it 3x you cant do?
As many of you know this is the top guy I wanted last year. If he truely is being shopped I would do Graham and a 2 in a heart beat. I'd even do the 1 straight up for him. Everyone knew he was coming off of the shoulder surgery and wouldnt be 100% until this year anyway.According to Jason La Canfora, Dolphins are gauging the value of a trade for Dion Jordan. What about Brandon Graham and our 2nd rounder?
Rotoworld:According to Jason La Canfora, Dolphins are gauging the value of a trade for Dion Jordan. What about Brandon Graham and our 2nd rounder?
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Dolphins are "gauging trade value" for 2013 No. 3 overall draft pick Dion Jordan.
In a deal made by ex-GM Jeff Ireland, Miami sent the Nos. 12 and 42 overall picks to Oakland during last year's draft to land Jordan at No. 3. Fins DC Kevin Coyle, who remains on staff, struggled to find a position fit for Jordan despite freakish athletic tools, as he only played 330 snaps on defense. Jordan's trade value after a disappointing rookie year is unclear, but his contract would be easy to fit under another team's salary cap, and he's a high-ceiling 24-year-old athlete. We suspect he could fetch a second-round pick, even if "giving up" on Jordan after one year would be a spectacular embarrassment to the franchise.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly stated after last year's draft that Philly "very heavily" considered selecting Dion Jordan with the No. 4 overall pick, until he was scooped up by Miami at No. 3.
The Fins likely knew of Kelly's interest -- Jordan played for him at Oregon -- and moved directly in front of the Eagles to nab him. "The guy that went No. 3, we were considering very heavily but didn’t get the chance to pull the trigger on that one," stated Kelly in a post-draft presser. This should fan the flames of Philly's already rumored interest in Jordan, whom CBS Sports reported Friday has essentially been placed on the trade block by Miami.

No, the problem is they're NOT switching schemes. They tried making him a 4-3 DE last year and that flopped. He needs to be a 3-4 OLB and the Dolphins don't run that.As many of you know this is the top guy I wanted last year. If he truely is being shopped I would do Graham and a 2 in a heart beat. I guess Miami is swicthing schemes?
