**Official 2015 In-Season Dynasty Completed Trades Thread** (1 Viewer)

Zealots Field league. Non-PPR. Start 1QB/2-3RB/2-5WR/1-3TE (there are kicker and IDP starters but they don't matter for this).

Traded:

Allen Robinson

Demaryius Thomas

2016 2nd round rookie pick (should be at the end of the round)

Received:

Dez Bryant

2016 1st round rookie pick (should be in the 4-7 range)

My reasoning:

I was (and still am) stacked at WR. I had Randall Cobb, Brandin Cooks, AJ Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones as well as Robinson and Thomas. I feel Dez is about the 3rd or 4th WR in dynasty and Thomas is about the 7th or 8th WR in dyansty. Robinson is someone I like a lot but, with my other WRs, I'd not be likely to start him as he was my WR6.

So, just taking the WRs into account, I would have thought Dez for Demaryius/Robinson is pretty equal. To get his 2016 1st for my 2016 2nd makes it much better for me. Yes, I don't have Dez for a significant part of this season but I'm trying to take a longer view than just this season.

I had lots of WR2-3 depth, RBs are Yeldon/Robinson, Lacy/Starks, and Stewart/Artis Payne and do not own Duke Johnson (nor does he)

He needed receiver and RB depth.

Gave:

John Brown

Isaiah Crowell

Got:

Dez / 1st pretty easily IMO.

First off, I think you just wanted to brag about your amazing WR stable haha.

I'd go with Dez and 1st. Mainly because I think Romo outlasts Peyton and that causes DT to lose further value. In your position though I'd probably have tried for a stud RB if your WRs are already this strong. Assuming you're weaker at RB than at WR.

Gave

Bryant, Dez DAL WR

Got
Jackson, Vincent TBB WR
Smith, Steve BAL WR
Year 2016 Round 1 Draft Pick
I know that Smith is in his last year and Jackson is in his last years. But foot injuries scare me and I'll take the lottery ticket in next year's 1st.
If I didn't already own Dez, I would pay that for him happily.
I just made a comparable offer for Dez, hasn't been accepted or laughed at yet.

Gronk but close enough

pretty sure I'd take Brown or Crowell over DGB.

Wow. Crowell can't hold onto the ball and is under pressure from a better back on a dysfunctional team, and Brown is a small home run hitter on a run-first/play defense team.

DGB is a bona-fide WR1 specimen (whether he's got the head for it is another question) with a chance to be a part of something special "growing up" with Mariota.

Needed to free up a roster spot too. But really I'm a sucker for upside :)

12 team PPR (.75/1/1.25)

Gave: Decker/2nd

Got: David Johnson

I just like Johnson and could use a RB with Ellington hurt and Bell sitting out still. I think Decker is probably worth as much or more but I don't mind an overpay for a guy I want on my team

16 team full IDP

Gave: 2016 2nd/3rd (hopefully late)

Got: Kaep

Needed a bye week QB for Cam. I do not like Kaep at all but hope he can string together some nice games and regain some of the luster he has lost with his fans

Nope! (To the first.) I put in my other WRs to give context to the trade.

I thought, with Dez hurt, it would be smart of me to at least touch base with the owners in my leagues and get a feel for how they now value Dez with him hurt. You never know how much an injury could change someone's outlook on a player.

Meh on Decker. Guy like that is pretty easily replaceable.

David Johnson was mid-2nd round in my rookie draft this year, so you are about right with the pick considering we don't know much more about Johnson than we did on draft day. Looks like a good fit for your team unless it left you really short receiver-wise.

I think I'll take the 2 over the one but I don't really like any of these players as much as they are valued by the community

12 team ppr qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/te/ 2flex-rb/wr/te

Dez/Adams for me

Dez>AJG in dynasty for me. Adams is better than the rest.

I understand having to give a little extra trading away an injured player though and good job by the Dez owner getting a nearly equal elite talent

12 Team PPR, (TE Premium)

Team A gets: Dez, Gore

Team B gets: J. Matthews, Gio, Ladarius Green, Late 1st
For this year, Mathews side by quite a bit. For 2016 and onward, I call it square.

Agholor and Ertz will take some of the shine off Matthews. Green I still don't know what to think. But Gio is still Flexable and a 1st is always nice.

Dez is going to come back and put up what he puts up, late this year...and certainly next.
Usually I think people got Dez cheap, but I like the haul in this one.

Made this trade before the season started..

Gave: Megatron

Got: Gordon

2016 1st

2016 2nd

I love Mega but likely wasn't gonna compete and needed rb depth. If Gordon develops into a 3 down back I love the trade. Thoughts?

Yeah I wouldn't trade Dez for that but I am lower on Matthews than some...

I can understand making this move for a rebuilder.

Gordon is a solid buy low guy I think. I liked some of what I saw with his running instincts week 1. That TD he almost scored was very close to an incredible play...that alone would have me pretty high on his future...for now

Went down this morning in one of my 40man roster full IDP leagues (.25/.5/1)

Team A gave up: Antonio Brown

Team B gave up: Brandin Cooks, Bobby Wagner

12 team PPR, can start up to 5 WR's.

Gave: Brandon Coleman

Got: Breshad Perriman

Had to take it, despite Coleman's TD this week and opportunity this year. Perriman has the pedigree, the situation, and his value is depressed due to the injury. He was a top-8 rookie pick with good measurables on a team dying for a downfield threat less than 3 months ago, I think this was a reactionary/impatient offer on the other owner's part.

i don't like trading starters for deptH.

12 team Non-ppr, start 1-2-3-1-1flex. Not involved.

Marshawn Lynch

For

2016 1st

Toby Gerhart

Team getting Lynch is a strong contender that was weak at RB, other team is starting to rebuild; just drafted Cooper and White and should finish in bottom 4 this year.

12 Team Tiered PPR/TE Premium 2QB-1RB-1WR-1TE-4flex

Gave: Ronnie Hillman, 2016 devy 1st (late)

Received: Tevin Coleman, Josh Hill

I'm rebuilding this roster and had four devy 1sts (we can only use three on draft day) so I shopped my projected latest pick around for a rookie pick or young player I liked. Landed Coleman. Other owner is nearly finished with his rebuild but doesn't seem to want RBs in this format.

Team A- Strong team was top team but has both Nelson and Dez. Gave Nelson, Kniles Davis and 3 2016 1st rounders. Probably picks are 4, 7, 9 ish.

Team B- Rebuilding- Gave Landry, yeldon, Duke Johnson, 2017 1st and 2nd.

Criminal...you could add Tevin Coleman to Brandon and still be pretty much even imo. So well done

I understand this deal but I am not sure I like it much. Probably Nelson and the 3 1sts but replacing Dez/Jordy over the next few games is tough. Hopefully Landry helps

14 Team Dynasty / No PPR / 6 pts all TD

Start:

1QB 1RB 1WR 1TE 2FLEX(RB,WR,TE) 1K 1D/ST

PManning, Foles, Flacco

2016 Picks:

1st Round - 1

2nd Round - 2 (both projected #15-20)

Gave: Moncrief, Floyd, DLewis, 2nd Round Pick (#23-28)

Got: Alshon, Flacco

Moncrief is the only piece I hated to deal, but needed a top WR and they don't come cheap in our league. Got Flacco as either insurance with all the qbs going down or will deal Foles or Flacco to Romo or Brees owner

Is it IDP heavy scoring? It looks really bad on paper to me. Brown is a lot more valuable than Cooks.

Team A Gave: Drew Brees (2 hours prior to injury news)

Brees even if he misses a few games

12 team PPR, standard scoring all touchdowns 6 points.

Team A gives Dez

Team B gives David Johnson, Karlos Williams, Devante Parker.

Funny part, I told the owner I wish I knew he had Dez on the block I would have made an offer. He asked out of curiosity what I would have offered. I said off the top of my Dorsett, Ingram and some other stuff. He replied the other stuff would have had to have been Cobb. My mouth dropped.
