cheap for marshall people are going to be mad at themselves. the value some people think of others because of popular opinion is becoming more common. the person capitalized on someone valuing marshall low.

So the guy gave up two valuable young pieces to handcuff a marginal starting QB (although 14 teams and super-flex make that a bit more necessary) and to handcuff a marginal RB (before the NFL Draft possibly usurps Riddick's value as a handcuff)?

I'm Team A. Just a lesson in discussing other owners rosters with them from time to time--you might be surprised how they value a player. Bryant owner is stacked at WR and didn't seem to care much about him. He had been trying to trade me for Riddick for the entire offseason (not Bryant straight up, other offers). I threw together the above offer and he took it.

Seen much worse trades in this thread. The value of this trade is probably worse than the actual effect it will have against the former Graham owner.
I just know I have Graham in the FFPC and there is no way I could move him for that.

Jimmy is a big question mark now. He went from the highest volume passing team to the lowest. That gonna have an impact.
Everyone thought because they gave up so much in term of draft picks and salary to Harvin that he would be used and he simply wasn't. That's what gives me pause.
Graham used to be even with Gronk in the super elite upper tier. He isn't now. Now it's like this:

I'm not sure how much Harvin is similar to Graham. They clearly wanted to improve the passing game but Harvin just wasn't the right guy. By all accounts, Graham is a good teammate so won't have the same issues (I think).
I'd agree that the divide between Gronk and Graham is significant - other than DE, it's the biggest separation in a position, but I'd still have Graham pretty high overall.

Definitely Gronk in his own tier, Graham about two full tiers down, and then some other guys a tier below Graham.
But I don't think this as simple as saying "he went from a high passing team to a low passing team". I would be pretty comfortable saying that Seattle will throw a lot more this year than they did last year. Wilson is getting better, the targets just got better, and Lynch can't run like a truck forever.

The fact is, the best receiving season that Russell Wilson has produced was for Golden Tate in 2013. He scored 183 fantasy points. He moved on to Detroit and saw an instant 40% increase in fantasy production. Russell is a value killer for receivers. Graham has a very real chance of falling off the fantasy map in Seattle, just like every other player Russell has ever thrown to. Why is his situation any better than Julius Thomas?
So you have Golden Tate and his 183 point season as the gold standard so far for the Wilson era.
Allen Hurns scored 154.7 last season with Bortles.

Graham is a better player than JT.
Chris Matthews has an awesome PPG average. Pretty sure Graham is better than Matthews
Maybe I presume too much but when a well run franchise trades a pro bowl player and a 1st for a player, I'll presume they'll utilize that player. That might not work out when that player sucks (TRich?) but Graham clearly does not.

The reality is that the owners in this league are very tight. It's the first rookie draft for the league and many think they're going to get ODB with their 1st and 2nd round picks. Plus, no one wants to move future picks. It's a weak market and I also had Gronk and have a need at a young RB. This gives me a couple of shots plus backfills a bit with Walker. My other league the value of Graham is MUCH higher.

I think Jimmy helps the running game and the running game helps Jimmy...pick your poison. Pressure Lynch and leave Jimmy to carve you downfield. Double up Jimmy and leave Lynch a light box. Wilson is maybe one of the better QB's in the game when things break down in the game and a mismatch guy like Jimmy will be target #1 in those situations.
SEA will find ways to make sure Jimmy gets his 120+ targets in that offense and chances are good those will be higher percentage targets than some in NO.

Usually it benefits the team dealing the 5th. I look to move those kinds of picks when I have multiple 1sts and/or 2nds.
