Official 2016 GOP thread: Is it really going to be Donald Trump?? (1 Viewer)

Is the IRS going to confirm that Trump is audited every year?

Is being audited every year a good thing?

Why is this a good argument? Hillary would get killed for this bs that Trump is dumping.

Because he's bulletproof. His supporters like him just the way he is. Content is irrevelant (he has none). It's so sad.
He appeals to the bigger base of people and will get plenty of liberal votes.  Cruz appeals to the hard-core right only and the other three are boring. They all mud-sling so I don't know why people have a problem with trump doing it.

Trump is killing Rubio sweating like he looks like he just got out off a pool :lmao:
He's also ridiculous - he can't go one sentence without saying how great he is.

"They say in sports - and I was a very good athlete - that you can't have a choker. Rubio is a choker."

:lmao:

Certain returns pretty much get audited every year due to income levels, structure, etc.  When I was a corporate auditor we had client's who basically had rooms set up for the IRS to use on a permanent basis.

Yeah people of his means are much more likely to get audited, that's really a matter of fact.  All rich people want the IRS eliminated for good reason, well...at least for their reasons.

Just watched a clip of Rubio absolutely destroying Trump (the "lines around" shtick). About time!
Yeah except that for anyone who understands the insurance industry and gets how huge taking regulating Insurance out of the states hands. Those "silly lines" are pretty much the barrier to single payer. What Trump proposed was one national insurance market, one that could allow a government program to compete on even terms with private industry, But yeah it was pretty funny for him to mock massive insurance reform. What a zinger.

Doesn't matter who did better between Rubio or Cruz---they are basically fighting for the same piece of the pie and are negating one another's votes. If one of them dropped out, somebody could make a legit challenge to Trump.

Trump did what he had to do and like Loan Sharks mentioned earlie, I think he actually is showing a pivot to the middle more and more and a much more calm demeanor from the crazy Trump from the past.

Wow Fox all over Marco's man meat trying to make Trump look bad.

I think Fox is getting extremely irritated that they are pushing their establishment guys and Trump is killing it.

Also I missed the Rubio shtick about the inheritance and Trump selling watches if he hadn't come into money.  Seems desperate to throw all this out all at once like he did tonight.  He's got more integrity than Cruz, who is a bottom-feeding politician if there ever was one, but not a lot more.

Kraut is out with Cruz>Rubio>Carson>Kasich>>>>>>>>Trump

Luntz's focus group of GOP voters overwhelming say Rubio won, also not one black person out of the 20+

Wait, found one

I called it. Trump says crazy stuff to get the hardcore nut R's to push him through the nomination. Then when the public sees him running and not just the handful of people who watch CNN online. Trump will have the R's  as a captive audience and he will control the middle.

4. Illegals can come back in after the apply for citizenship
I want to stop and marvel at this notion: that for conservatives right now, the notion that we are going to deport 11-13 million people and then allow some of them back in, THAT'S considered a moderate position. I mean think about that. These people are so ####### crazy on this issue that the debate is, after we deport them all, do we let some back in? If you're for that, like Trump, you're soft.  :lmao:

Neither wants to be VP so they could never get together and agree for one to drop out. They would both say 'you drop out and you can be my VP'. Thus they both will be losers.

Now Fox has a panel with 15 people who all screamed Rubio!!! when asked who won the debate.

Fox is the National Enquirer at this point, they need Wolf to go over there.

I know what you mean, Bill Clinton deported 12 million banned for 5 years to forever for a otherwise law abiding illegal citizens. Isn't that that law Tim? What about the 2 million Obama sent packing? It must me upsetting that Trump will welcome all the hard working good people back into the country when the Clintons banished people never to return.

I have a feeling more news outlets than fox are going to reporting a Rubio "win"
You think?  Because of the insults?  Outside that I thought he was awful and I'm not a Rubio hater by any means.  I'm pretty much only watching these things to root against Cruz, order, and for shtick.

Hey guy, please check your facts.  THANKS!!!!!

Watching replays and from what I've seen yes. Where'd he come up short? Haven't gotten there yet.

Yeah you keep repeating that line. It's bogus.

http://www.factcheck.org/2015/12/ted-cruz-on-deportations/

Based on Department of Homeland Security figures for “removals,” which are defined as “the compulsory and confirmed movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the United States based on an order of removal,” there were more than 827,100 people removed, or deported, during the fiscal years that span Clinton’s two-terms in office

I missed the first 20 minutes but I thought he was defensive and agitated throughout.  That is not presidential.

I'm cool with him winning though, if it's him vs Trump that means Cruz is out.

Of all of Trump's ridiculous lines tonight, the most laughable was when he suggested that he could settle the Trump University lawsuit anytime but that he was fighting it "out of principle."

The same way his Iraq War, W, and Pope comments did
Rubes think he is awesome...sane people know he is just full of it.

The same people who will think the PP line was great (as far as his supporters)...are those who were fine with the GOP trying to defund them and threatening to shut down the government over it.

So I guess we should be glad that most illegals waive their right to deportation trial. Thanks goodness you pointed out that we only had to waste money on 870,000 trials for citizens of other countries.

Under Clinton, there were only about 870,000 removals/deportations, but 11.4 million returns.
You do get the difference right? Do you understand at all the logistics of trying to forcibly deport 11 million people already here?

Yeah it is "bogus" that Clinton returned 11 million people and 870,00 had trials.  Sorry son you can't have it both ways, if you say that Trumps plan to remove 11 million illegals is impossible because you can't deport 11 million people, when in the past you only need 800k deportations to get 11 million people back to their country of origin.

So what makes you think the same rate of voluntary return does not exist today that makes Trumps plan in essence identical to the Clintons.

Yeah you are not keeping up at all tonight.  If you are going to come out with some bull#### political garbage, be proved wrong, then not understand why you are wrong...you're pretty much a Rove! alias.  That's what he does.  Take care now.
