I hope that Trump wins.
Trump led the GOP field in 2012 before he imploded over Obama's birth certificate.I think Herman Cain was out front at this point too. But Trump is self-funded, has huge name recognition, and the network and cable news programs of all stripes are eating him up.Last time we had a pretty big turnover rate of crazies at the top of the poll, didn't we? Cain, Bachman, Santorum all had their time well ahead of anything that mattered at the top of the polls iirc.
Didn't vote for him. Don't like Obama particularly. Has nothing to do with Walker. So you don't like Walker then huh...I think we get it.What more experience or qualifications did Obama have when he entered the race? I'll hang up and listen.Usually if someone is worth a vote for president...those supporting him would have some reasoning other than...he is a winner with a down to earth vibe. What are you looking for?Why?Walker/Rubio is still the best ticket for the GOP. Lots of time for that to change
Im still trying to figure out if anyone can really give a reason why Walker would be a good candidate.
So far...being a winner and having a down to earth vibe are his best qualities.
Qualifications...why you think he may be a good president...things like that.
Its telling to me that I have asked this question multiple times...and have almost zero answers that would come close to qualifying someone to be president.

It seems like you're going to eliminate reasons he's a good candidate one way or the other. So you don't like him - that doesn't discount the reasoning of others who do.
But, again, I suspect it's because you really won't accept ANY reasons because you just don't like Walker.

And Obama hasn't worked out well ..so that seems like a terrible thing to bring up in support of Walker.
I think it was more like he fizzled when he didn't get in the race. The BC thing is a lot like we are seeing now, tossing hand grenades to see what fish he can catch. in fact I think he recently questioned Obama's birthplace again, and it's funny because it hardly even got noticed between his other lunacy.Trump led the GOP field in 2012 before he imploded over Obama's birth certificate.I think Herman Cain was out front at this point too. All I asked was for a comparative answer for what experience/qualifications our current President had/has before he ran, and how that level of experience /qualifications in comparison make Walker a bad candidate. Were talking about a person running for President, so that's why I brought up Obama. Pick another for comparison's sake.Yes, you bringing up Obama was a very lame deflection.lame deflectionDidn't vote for him. Don't like Obama particularly. Point us...I don't support Obama...but bringing a comparison of a bad president being as qualified as the current candidate does not seem like a very ringing endorsement... Nor does it answer my questions about Walker. So I deflect your poor deflection. All I asked was for a comparative answer for what experience/qualifications our current President had/has before he ran, and how that level of experience /qualifications in comparison make Walker a bad candidate. @ MaxTo me...him pushing his agenda (that I was for and agreed with) is not that big of a positive. The manner how he went about pushing it thru...and how politics have become that divisive... I see little from him at this point to make me think he can or would work with those who oppose him.I could never vote for Walker, but I believe he is well qualified to be President. He's been the executive of a state with a sharp partisan divide. He was able to push through the main points of his agenda in the face of strong opposition. These are experiences that can't be taught, and very few politicians from either party can cite this sort of record.
If I was a conservative. This would probably be the guy I want above all others in the race.
Very doubtful.Wouldn't surprise me if they collaborated on this.
if I'm a conservative, I don't want a President who tries to work with Democrats. I want a President who defeats Democrats, and who pushes a conservative agenda. To me...him pushing his agenda (that I was for and agreed with) is not that big of a positive. So not sure how that part of his record is a positive.I could never vote for Walker, but I believe he is well qualified to be President. Sure, as a give, he is about as qualified as anyone domestically...but have still heard very few really positive things from even his supporters.
That was a joke.Very doubtful.Wouldn't surprise me if they collaborated on this.
Wow, someone that can give a real answer to the question. Cripes.I could never vote for Walker, but I believe he is well qualified to be President. Personally, I'm sick of anyone who has been in Washington for longer than 4 years.Obviously paths exist for Walker and others in the GOP, the Midwest is one of them. Bring in Rubio and Fla is in play. Add Kasich and Ohio is in play. Obviously Hillary remains the favorite and likely next president. She is highly flawed though and one flaw is many people are dying for anyone not named Clinton or Bush.
Yeah, I think he does.I think you have me confused with someone else.MaxThreshold said:Again, the problem with posts like this is that "sanity" basically means "whatever I believe in". JUST IN: ABC/WP Poll. The Front Runner - @realDonaldTrump
Trump 24
Walker 13
Bush 12
Huck 8
Rubio 7
Paul 6
Poll taken Thu-Sun (1/2)
I'm pretty sure that is the second one to show him leading nationally. Personally I think Democrats and Republicans who do so need to stop laughing about him.Jonathan Karl @jonkarl ·

If he drops that on Hillary they might skip the whole thing and just give him the nom.I like the Onion headline "Trump calls nun the C- word, jumps 5 points in poll"
gotta respect his shtick a little bit. he's manipulating the news outlets beautifully, and his "no, I won't apologize for anything" angle has them dumbfounded. that's what his supporters like. what he originally said is almost irrelevant.I like the Onion headline "Trump calls nun the C- word, jumps 5 points in poll"
I'm just trying to imagine the GOP reaction if Obama had made those same comments about McCain back in '08. Hannity's practically blaming the media for blowing it out of proportion.gotta respect his shtick a little bit. he's manipulating the news outlets beautifully, and his "no, I won't apologize for anything" angle has them dumbfounded. that's what his supporters like. what he originally said is almost irrelevant.I like the Onion headline "Trump calls nun the C- word, jumps 5 points in poll"
Trump is a clown but he definitely also appeals to the part of me that really, really despises political correctness. He's fun to watch if for no other reason that he goes after both the limp-wristed social justice crowd and Republican establishment alike and does not back down. If there were ever any groups of people which needed a big 'F-you' it's those two.gotta respect his shtick a little bit. he's manipulating the news outlets beautifully, and his "no, I won't apologize for anything" angle has them dumbfounded. that's what his supporters like. what he originally said is almost irrelevant.I like the Onion headline "Trump calls nun the C- word, jumps 5 points in poll"
This is true. The media is a dumbfounded, but they also put his statements out there, and cover him - cnn, fox, msnbc, networks, all of them - so it becomes a massive reality show.gotta respect his shtick a little bit. he's manipulating the news outlets beautifully, and his "no, I won't apologize for anything" angle has them dumbfounded. that's what his supporters like. what he originally said is almost irrelevant.I like the Onion headline "Trump calls nun the C- word, jumps 5 points in poll"
It is always just a big reality show, the media is just disappointed they didn't get to pick the star. This is true. It's always been a dog and pony show. The difference is that Trump isn't beholden to the media or the party. He is who he is and he's not a marionette for the GOP puppeteer. This is true.
