Official 2016 GOP thread: Is it really going to be Donald Trump?? (4 Viewers)

Winners:

Kasich, by far

Walker

Paul

Huckabee

Jeb

Losers:

Carson

Trump

Christie

embarrassing performances by the last three. Trump committed political suicide within the R party tonight.

Rubio surprisingly still flat, still drinking water on the side. Maybe he's a bygone era guy.
 :lmao:
Paul could have been better. He'll get better when given more time about warrants. They deliberately did that to him and Christie.

Advocating against a single-payer health care system is the reason Trump shouldn't even be on the stage.

Huckabee did great when asked about federalism. I mean, despite his political leanings, that was a great answer.

In this debate it matters not what Rockaction thinks, it matters what I think.

Rubio, Bush, Ohio guy are the only guys I'd vote for.

Walker, Cruz, and Paul are unelectable and will get slaughtered by Hillary or Biden. Trump is a squirrel for kid with ADHD.

Weird. Maybe I'm too hard on Rubio.

Add Kasich to my winners list tonight.

people will look at him which is what he needed.

I stand by notion Christie and Paul hurt each other.

Everybody agree Trump's numbers will not take a hit after this? I say he stays in front.
I dunno. I admit I was wrong about his demeanor. But I don't know if he stays in front. I suspect he will drop heavily, but I've been quite wrong about this so far.

I think FOX and most of the other Big Republican outlets used him as a warm up act to the actual campaign season. They don't need him anymore . That the first question was about running as an Indy showed what they actually thought of him.

Christie supports the War on Drugs, War on Terror, and the undeclared war on privacy.

0/3
sounds like 70% of that stage
Yep. The thing is, it also describes Hillary's record pretty well. She has no compunction about changing positions to get elected, of course, but being able to draw a distinction against both the paleo conservative dinosaurs and the Democrats is a pretty neat trick. Too bad there aren't more (or better) candidates espousing those positions.
