As I noted above, I was referring to total net lost seats in a presidency. Obama has the most since FDR.

I'm almost certain we're getting Hilary vs Trump and Trump wins the whole damn thing. He's going to do a lot of good for our country.

He's going to bring us back to where we were and where we still should have been.

Can you specifically tell me what is. 3 or 4 things that we "were" and "should still be"? I have asked this before of Trump supporters, but I can't get a specific answer.

1.) Immigration -

Our neighbor Mexico is beating us at the border and it's a disgrace. Trump is going to be tough on immigration because the money we spend on healthcare, jail, etc for these illegals can be used to create jobs. Hilary is weak on immigration and would let everyone in for all she cares.

2.) Trade -

We're getting beat by China, Japan, and Mexico in trade. Trump is going to bring jobs back to America and win the Mexican vote. He has a very large company and has trade partners across the globe. The Art of the Deal is one of the best selling business books of all time.

3.) Foreign Policy -

Our current foreign policy is a joke. Our allies hate us and our enemies are getting stronger by the day. Trump was against the 2 trillion dollar campaign in Iraq because he said it would destabilize the Middle East. Trump would be hard nosed with Iran who are trying to take over Iraq. Trump would cut off ISIS' money supply by bombing their oil fields.

4.) Social Issues -

Trump doesn't have time to be politically correct. He's going to crush the liberal media as he has done so far. He speaks the truth and I don't think he'll be soft and allow all this race baiting and victim mentality from the GLBT to continue. He's a hard nosed Christian and I think he empowers people when he roasts people in the media.

He says everything you wish other politicians would. He will stop the liberal, sissy takeover we've seen. He doesn't care what people think he only cares about the truth.

Yes he sounds just like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'm a registered Republican. I won't vote for Trump no matter what. He is more what's wrong with our country than anyone else running. (Fame = value; money = "I have something to say and you should listen")

A little misleading when you are only looking at mid-term elections.And FDR lost 117 House seats, which is the run away winner as far as House seats are concerned. Plus Truman lost 74 House seats and 18 Senate seats, which is ballpark to Obama's mid-term numbers.

So it seems to be an issue for Democrat Presidents.

I don't think either party is as far gone as voting for Trump or Sanders. Hillary is doing her best Sanders impression, but most people don't believe she'd be that hard left either; right now, Republicans are getting caught up in who can be more conservative on abortion, which is not a good look either.

Actually I used to really like Fiorina. When she ran for senator against Boxer, I heard her give a speech about how excessive red tape was costing California jobs going to Texas. I agreed with that speech and I voted for her. But these days she's spouting a lot of nonsense. I explained how in the thread devoted to her. She sounds very impressive but it's still a lot of nonsense.

He has a hot wife, I'll say that. I honestly can't think about one serious qualification for the guy except that he knows the Manhattan real estate market like the back of his hand. His sole policy position is he wants to build a wall along Mexico.

Actually I thought Rubio embarrassed him by bringing up the fact that most of our immigrants don't come from Mexico. And the securing the border issue has merit but not building a wall along the whole damned length of the border.

After that I like to think of myself as a political junkie but I do not have any idea what else he supports and he's leading the GOP.

I actually have some really serious negative views of Trump as a politician, I don't think people are taking him seriously enough and I think he's potentially a very dangerous damaging guy, not just for the GOP but the whole country if he keeps this up.

Couldn't be worse than Obamacare which Trump has said he will repeal.

Trump's FOS, he could just as easily declare universal health care. Or build a thousand hospitals, or halt payments to medicare to balance the budget. You have no idea what that guy will do, but whatever he does it will be for himself.

Considering there are only 615 billionaires in the United States I would say that puts them into a pretty special class of people with business skills. They are an exclusive 0.00019373% of the population. Specifically regarding Donald Trump who has acquired a personal wealth of 11 billion dollars, has written a best selling business book "The Art of the Deal", and has an Ivy League education... I don't think it's a dumb thing to say at all.

Furthermore, when you consider our country is in a multi-trillion dollar deficit bringing in somebody with a track record of accumulating wealth and closing deals on a global scale is a no-brainer. Specifically somebody with a Bachelors in Economics like Trump also helps matters. I don't think it was a very dumb thing for me to say at all. Do you have any specific skills that have allowed you to excel at business so much that you're in a select 0.00019373% of the population?
