Official 2016 GOP thread: Is it really going to be Donald Trump?? (2 Viewers)

The sick part of me is enjoying trump and Carly get attention. The worst possible choices for the party, but entertaining.

So who won?
With no bias...Trump?
Agreed. He did a good job making the other peoples attacks look petty and inaccurate. Bush and Walker probably can't believe their luck. Carly did well to go from last person in to real face time too. Her answer about trump criticizing her appearance was the sound bite of the night b
Really? He was visibly frustrated a few times and never answered a real question.

Someone needs to tell Christie that the 9/11 guys weren't in Iraq
And he wasn't a U.S. attorney on Sept. 10th either. Its a lie he perpetuates and hasn't been challenged on.
Jeez you ####ers need to pay attention. He said he was chosen on Sept 10th. Clear out your ears guy.
No, his name was being mentioned weeks before. But he wasn't "chosen" on the 10th. Look it up.
You ####in look it up. He got the call that he was chosen and to begin negotiations on Sept 10.

Disagree. He refuses to offer any specifics for his ideas. At some point people will get tired of that...one hopes.

Trump?

I love his strategy of "you idiots argue over religious and women's rights and I'll just stand here"
No. He's finally looking stupid for not actually having any plans.

"i'll get the best people"

OH...OK.
I dunno. I just enjoy he gives zero ####s about opposing stuff we all support without having to say it (religious principles).

For the record, I think it's sad he's the only one up there who does.

A few of our PolitiFact readers were quick to point out a report published in the New York Times on Dec. 8, 2001, which said that on the day before – nearly four months after the terrorist attacks – President George Bush announced he would nominate Christie as the next U.S. attorney for New Jersey.

That is not true.

Am I the only one that thinks CNN is really dropping the ball with so few commercials? I think the first hour of the debate was commercial free.
