Completely crazy to me.Tbh, disappointed The Leftovers didn't get much love. Love or hate the show, there was some fantastic acting in it that got overlooked here.
ok negative guy, who then?
Jeffrey Wright's great - i wrote the Mad Hatter in my musical to the thought of him and came up w two of my best numbers as a result.full credit will be given to all of the other equally deserving nominees, minus Patinkin. Jeffrey Wright and Stranger Things guy were my favorites along with Lithgow- who tbh I thought was incredible in the role.
no shows within the year of eligibilityI didn't seen the show, but checking the wiki page it looks like Game of Thrones didn't get a single nomination in any category, right? Is there a reason for this?
Game Of Thrones's release schedule was outside the Emmy eligibility window for this set of awards. It was kind of them to give someone else a chance.I didn't seen the show, but checking the wiki page it looks like Game of Thrones didn't get a single nomination in any category, right? saw him just destroy it on stage in Angels in America and fell in love. Basquiat is one of my favorite underlooked movies and performances. don't think I've seen him in a bad role or performance.Jeffrey Wright's great - i wrote the Mad Hatter in my musical to the thought of him and came up w two of my best numbers as a result.
Fell in love w him from Angels as well. Imagining him into Hatter (which i do maybe one in ten times) was originally my way of making sure i thought multiculturally about casting "Alice in Manhattanland" but turned out to be a gift because i soooo wanted him to get a star turn worthy of him when i did that i wrote the #### out of the numbers which ending up punching expositional material into showstoppers (which is the whole point in musicals). God, i wish i could find a new arranger out here in the boonies, so i could wrap this ##### up!saw him just destroy it on stage in Angels in America and fell in love. was in line at JFK Jet Blue, serpentining endlessly back and forth to get to check in or security- he was in line ahead of us, so we kept criss-crossing him. finally decided to thank him for his work as we passed him the last time... something I never do. also felt bad that a guy of this professional quality was having to fly Jet Blue.
They were hellbent on giving him that award regardless of his actual performance.jamny said:Must've been an exciting show.![]()
HTF does Alec Baldwin get in that category? I knew he would win as soon as I saw his name on the list.![]()
