What you're implying - that that whole thing really stretched suspension of disbelief - is accurate.

I'd have preferred a Severed Floor Jug and Washboard Band - now that would have been bizarrely funny.

They're on the Severed floor and they're not management.

And when Helly jumps up on the desk to ask them to help stop Milchick from escaping she appeals to their understanding that they've seen fellow innies in their department "killed" off just as Irving has been. They collectively agree because they know she's right and join her and Dylan in the fight.

I think we get the idea that there aren’t many severed people because we just see our core four every episode but they’ve mentioned offices all around the world and the three people we see in place of our normal group in the first episode are experienced refiners. So, it makes sense to me they have all kinds of departments of severed people doing whatever they deem necessary.

That whole marching band scene was so bizarre and surreal. Right down to the picture of Mark drawn with a Harbaugh jaw. That's one way to subvert expectations.

I loved it.

It is nicer sounding than "Devour Feculence".

Just finished watching both seasons

I love the weirdness of the show (sort of reminds me of stuff like Westworld, Watchmen and Young Pope in this regard)

Some episodes are slow and almost boring, but that doesn't take away from my positive feeling about the show as a whole

I hope (and think) that they know where they're going with this. Would be really disappointing if it turned out they're just kind of making it up season by season

Some of the odd stuff (marching band, child manager at work, goats) does kind of suggest that this may all be going on in one person's mind

It's some of the best dancing I've ever seen!!!
